Error 100 can't sign in to Windows Zoom client

 

How do we troubleshoot this?

 

We've got 2 Windows 7-64-bit computers, one works with Zoom, the other doesn't, we tried r&r remove & reinstall 32-bit and 64-bit Zoom client, several malware scans ( all negative ), deleting the

 

[ C:\Users\...user...\AppData\Roaming\Zoom\data ]

 

directory, thorough resetting of Windows to OOB out of the box defaults, reset networking, running a cable directly to the same router where the working computer is connected, no luck ( other remoting software works - Teamviewer and the like ) - how can we troubleshoot and fix Zoom so it works?

 

( Note: we now CAN log in through Chrome browser, but Firefox browser shows [ Network error ], for what it's worth, Opera browser required arduous searching for cookie permission settings - but that's browsers, NOT the Windows Zoom client software ).

 

We tried these:

I started using Zoom Calendar August 2023 and it worked fine until Sept 24, 2023. I did not connect it to any Google or Microsoft calendars because I do not have those calendars.

I used this calendar just fine for a month.

Then I clicked to see my meetings last week and the calendar wasn't there. It redirected me to add Google calendar or Microsoft or Office 360. 

 The calendar is part of my subscription, yet it is switched off...and it  redirects me to add Google or Microsoft calendar....I don't have those. Anybody know what happened? Or how to fix this. I attempted to contact help center 4 times and was unable to connect. I have sent two support tickets and no response. 

I actually need ZOOM customer care and can't get it.

hide participants in a meeting

I want to host a meeting for around 10-15 people and make the host the only one allowed to speak and share the screen. I also want the participants list to be fully hidden, so that no participant can see who else is attending nor the number of attend... Show more

I want to host a meeting for around 10-15 people and make the host the only one allowed to speak and share the screen. I also want the participants list to be fully hidden, so that no participant can see who else is attending nor the number of attendees.

Is this possible with zoom meetings? The webinar paid plan is quite expensive for just a 1-off event like this...

No button to enable captions in meeting

I do not have a "cc" button in Zoom meetings to enable closed captions. I have enabled the settings for this in the app and on the Web: . . . but stll captions do *not* appear automatically, nor is there a CC button in the controls. What am I missing... Show more

It says: Your camera is in use by another application.

 

Can I find which other application?

 

No I cannot.

Participants can't hear me.

I sign on to a meeting--either one I'm hosting or one someone else is hosting. Other participants can't hear me. I sign off and sign back on and they can hear me fine. This doesn't happen every time, but it does happen often. I know all my settings a... Show more

I sign on to a meeting--either one I'm hosting or one someone else is hosting. Other participants can't hear me. I sign off and sign back on and they can hear me fine. This doesn't happen every time, but it does happen often. I know all my settings are fine since it ALWAYS works fine when I sign back in. I need to find a fix for this.

Licensed Member w basic error

I am admin of our acct. One of my users has a licensed membership and is getting the message “Basic Zoom Account Can only host for 40 minutes” when she tries to schedule a meeting.  Thoughts?
