Hello,

I was told that it is possible, with our "Pro" plan, to have a PUBLIC registration link for a meeting, as well as a PRIVATE link that can be sent to members of our organization so they do not need to register. I have not been able to figure out how to do that. Does anyone have tips? I appreciate it.

I have been trying to remove the Waiting Room from my personal meeting room. I have a pro account. It appears that Zoom requires me to have 1 of 3 kinds of security, but even when I add a Personal Meeting ID passcode, and I change the setting to allow participants to join before host, people are still being put in a Waiting Room. What might I be missing? Thank you! Related: How long does it take for meeting setting changes to take effect? Is it not instantaneous?

Resolved! Error code 13214

Hi. Recently, I've been having a meeting with people living in China on a personal account, not a business account, but they said they can't get into Zoom. Error code 13214 is displayed. Does anyone know why?

Dear All,

I'm currently working on an automated install script for MDM Intune.

Here is documentation >> Using 1 Intune to rule all Winget Apps – VAN-DAAG
Current issue is when you install zoom via SYSTEM account (other apps are working)
it installs on location:
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Roaming\Zoom

So its not available for all users. (NON)
I was hoping by adding --scope machine to the script it will solve. but not.
.\winget.exe install --id $PackageName --scope machine --silent --accept-source-agreements --accept-package-agreements

If you install it as User. its installed for that user. But then it is not reported in Intune that its installed. because its in user profile.

Are there other solutions via Winget? I don't want to build something with the MSI file when there is an update.

Kind regards,
Daag

Hi there,

I purchased a subscription today so I could do recordings longer than 40 minutes and did an interview but when I downloaded from the cloud it wouldn't open and I got this error message instead:

"The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported."

I tried uninstalling Zoom but the recording still gets the same error message. I'm on a Mac. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Dear all, I want to confirm officially whether Zoom is available to be used in China. I have searched around via google but it appears there has been no official announcement nor consensus among zoom users, as the policy seems to change every now and then.

I have found an indirect source from a Zoom university client stating that Zoom is accessible in China as of 23 August 2023: https://help.lsit.ucsb.edu/hc/en-us/articles/360042172231-Zoom-Access-from-China#:~:text=%22Zoom%20has%20confirmed%20that%20the,via%20the%20zoom.us%20website

Is this true?

For some weeks now we have problems with our link. With the same link / meeting ID people end up in different rooms randomly. Even if they log off and on again we don't seem to be able to get everyone into the same room. This is strange since everyone uses the same link that we send in a WhatsApp group app. We can't see who ends up where.

What can we do?
