When I am in a zoom meeting my screen blacks out and does return.  The people in the meeting still can see and hear me talk while my screen is blacked out.  What do I need to do to stop this from happening?  I use zoom at least every Friday night with this meeting.   On the add on Thursday meeting was the first time the black outs occurred.  I am using a Dell inspiron 15 3511 with windows 11.

 

Any help would be appreciated,

Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected.

 

I also tried to check my laptop setting and it is allow the microphone to access the zoom.

Buzzing and slow computer

I have an ongoing problem with Zoom. I regularly have a buzzing noise when other people are talking during a Zoom session. In addition, after I end the the Zoom session my computer is slow to response. Both typing and moving the mouse. The only way to correct is restarting my computer after every session. This is time consuming and should not be necessary. And yes I just installed the latest update.

Join Meeting Button not working when using iPhone

I hope I can easily join a meeting by clicking the join meeting icon. But the join button is not responding on the iPhone. The only way to join a meeting is to manually exit the Outlook App, Manually launch the Zoom App and enter the meeting ID and passcode.  

 

Does anyone know how to join a meeting automatically like Microsoft team on iPhone ?

Captions assume speaker from France is speaking French when they are speaking English

I recently encountered the following problem on an international Zoom call with many speakers. 

Closed captioning was turned on.  Everyone spoke only English.  When the speaker from The Netherlands spoke, the captions attempted to be Dutch.  When the speaker from France spoke, the captions attempted to be French.  This was not translation; it was making its best guess based on the sounds.

On the other hand, the audio transcript correctly understood that all was said in English.

My host Zoom settings allow multiple languages and translation. 

I do not see an option to force the captions to be thought of as English.  I would like a fix that I can do live during the next meeting when I notice it occurs.

Hello, I have a Pro account with 3 Licensed users. Each have Scheduling Privileges for the other. I am having issues with simultaneous meetings being held and I am told that it is because all of the (recurring) meetings were SCHEDULED by the same user. This makes no sense to me. I though that was the purpose of scheduling privileges. So Sally is in a meeting and Judy tries to start another meeting that she is listed as the host, but she can't because said meeting was created by Sally. We have 4 weekly recurring meetings and this is a major issue. 

We also have an Acuity account that is creating meeting so I don't know if that will also be an issue...

We don't need a Business account since we only have 3 users.

Please help!

WIfi breaking when I share screen and use vscode at the same time

When I share my screen on zoom and use vscode at the same time my wifi breaks for my laptop but only that so I can still use wifi on my phone but I have to restart my laptop and when I try again I get the same issue. I think it might be a hardware is... Show more

When I share my screen on zoom and use vscode at the same time my wifi breaks for my laptop but only that so I can still use wifi on my phone but I  have to restart my laptop and when I try again I get the same issue. I think it might be a hardware issue where zoom is sending too much data through my sifi on my laptop and it's crashing whatever part of it deals with the wifi. 

I'm thinking if I can reduce the ammount of data zoom is sending on screen share it might fix it?

I use zoom only for my yoga classes working with Brio 4KPro Webcam. I have a licence but my users use a free account. My class is one hour long but every time after 40mins usually, I start to experience problems with pictures freezing and sound becoming grabled. Sometimes the users videos become blank although they are connected. This is very frustrating. I use zoom on a notebook and have a connection to a TV so that I can get a bigger picture. My notebook is clean and doesn't have any other apps except what it came with and zoom of course.

I have checked my wifi connections with Sky and have boosters upstairs where I conduct my class. I believe any issues with wifi have been solved. The problem appears to be with my zoom account.
