Hello, 

 

The directions in the Zoom Help article to enable audio transcripts do not match the available selection boxes on my screen. 

 

I attached a screenshot of the directions from https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4409311220621.  Specifically Step 4 " Audio transcript check box to enable it".   As you can see in the other attached screenshot, there is no " Audio transcript check box" under "Advanced cloud recording settings".  

 

Thanks in advance for whomever can tell me how to find the Audio Transcript check box. Or how to enable audio transcription at the account level.  I tried calling Zoom but the recording told me I'm not allowed to talk to anyone and this question is too complicated for automated bot replies.

I am getting issues with my voice to others in meetings when I use the microphone from the headphone BOSE QC45. So I tried to find a solution and nothing happened. My voice fades in and out, and most of the time is out.

 

Does someone know how to fix this issue?

 

meanwhile, I use the speaker from headphones and the microphone from the laptop.

Resolved! Audio issue while presenting video

I am trying to present a video to clients, but they cannot hear the audio from the video. I have a laptop and two additional monitors if that has an impact. It worked in the past.

Auto close browser tab upon meeting launch

There used to be an option to automatically close the browser tab that is automatically launched when joining a Zoom meeting after a few seconds. Now, the tab just stays open indefinitely and you have to close it manually, which is extremely annoying... Show more

There used to be an option to automatically close the browser tab  that is automatically launched when joining a Zoom meeting after a few seconds. Now, the tab just stays open indefinitely and you have to close it manually, which is extremely annoying when spending a full day in back to back meetings. I haven't been able to find any settings to turn the auto-close back on - is this still an option?

I tried to join zoom meetings with my Cisco Codec Plus p60 but i get this error message:

 

"The meeting you are attempting to join requieres SIP/H.323 Endpoint to have encryption enabled. Your device either does no have encryption enabled, or does not support the minimum encryption system requirements."

 

Anyone else has happened?

Zoom sees microphone but doesn't hear it

When I am in Zoom and choose my external USB microphone, Zoom sees the microphone but can't hear it—there is no audio input. The microphone works in any other app, but in Zoom there is silence. I can restart my computer, reinstall Zoom, and nothing. Until...something just starts working. And then it works for a while and there is no explanation.

 

Just this morning it wasn't working. I reinstalled and it was working. I unplugged and replugged and restarted the computer and it kept working. Then about an hour later, I unplugged the USB and plugged it back in and now it doesn't work again. Again, Zoom sees the microphone, but doesn't hear it.

 

I have been dealing with this issue for months. I never know when I'm going to have good audio, and as I teach online, this is a major pain. I thought at first it must be a mic problem (maybe a weird firmware quirk with my operating system), but a new mic brought the same problems. 

I've been teaching on Zoom for a couple years and this problem only showed up a few months ago. Can anyone please help?

I'm running Ventura 13.4 on 14" M1 MacBook Pro on Zoom 5.15.11.

I have experienced this problem with both a Samson Q2U and Rode Podmic. However, I went months using the Q2U with no problems before this suddenly started happening.
