What are the options to save call recordings for people that leave the company? We do not want to lose the recordings. We need them for historical purposes.
I don't know what happened but as of yesterday, I have not been able to join any zoom meetings, including previous recurring ones. It either says the host hasn't joined or the host has another meeting - but the host is inside waiting for me. I'm not sure what is going on. It is happening on both my laptop (mac apple chip) and iphone. I tried the test zoom instructions and everything appears to be fine. I am using the latest Zoom and I am panicking because it's blocking everything. Can anyone please help? I'm desperate and I don't know how to talk to a human being and the AI chat bot hasn't been able to help.

Hi all, looking for some assistance here. I'm on 6.1.10 (38818) for Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93). I've updated to the latest version, uninstalled and reinstalled from a fresh download, and disabled zoom notifications in my system menu. Can anyone help me out?
Whenever I enter a meeting there's a banner in my system menu that says "Turn on Reactions". The X to close the banner does not work.

We have a guest user who is using Fireflies.ai's transcription bot, and one of our hosts inadvertently clicked 'OK' to allow it to record our regular meetings. We would like to revoke that privilege, but I can't see the right settings in the Zoom web admin interface to reset it. Can someone point me to the right control for this? Many thanks!

I've tried to contact Zoom about this, but it's been a week and they aren't answering back. We have our schools switched to Google Meet for now due to a warning sent out by Michigan State Police Cyber Command Center regarding security concerns involving Zoom. We have not heard any updates from MSP, and we have not heard anything from Zoom. Our users would like to get back to using their Zoom accounts for their meetings, but due to the sensitive nature of their communications, we are being very cautious. Anyone here have any updates regarding this Michigan Cyber Command Center warning about Zoom meetings? They have not released an update either. Email Message From Michigan State Police: From: Michigan Cyber Command Center (MC3) Date: Fri, Mar 14, 2025, 11:23 AM Subject: TLP:CLEAR - MC3 Cyber Situational Awareness Message (SAM) – Major Security Concerns Involving Zoom To: Michigan Cyber Command Center (MC3)
TLP:CLEAR MC3 Cyber Situational Awareness Message (SAM) – Major Security Concerns Involving Zoom
Overview:
In recent years, Zoom has become a go-to tool for virtual meetings and remote collaboration. However, its widespread adoption has exposed several security vulnerabilities that make it unsuitable for professional or sensitive business use. The MC3 is aware of major security flaws in the Zoom communication software which are likely being leveraged by cyber threat actors to intercept and collect information. Since 2022 Zoom has had 107 known vulnerabilities. If users are not keeping up with patches for these vulnerabilities, they are at risk of having their data stolen and/or allowing unauthorized access to a Zoom session.
Security concerns with Zoom:
Data Encryption Gaps - Zoom claims to offer encryption, but it does not implement end-to-end encryption in all aspects of the platform. While meetings are encrypted in transit, Zoom itself retains access to meeting data and may decrypt content potentially exposing sensitive information to unauthorized users. Zoombombing - In the past, Zoom has faced high-profile incidents of "Zoombombing," where uninvited individuals join meetings to disrupt conversations or share inappropriate content. Though measures have been implemented to address this, the platform's default security settings were not strong enough to prevent such disruptions. Poor Default Security Settings - Default settings, such as allowing attendees to join meetings without authentication or enabling video and audio by default, can create security risks if not manually adjusted by the host. This can expose meetings to cyber threat actors and allow unauthorized access. The MC3 assesses with high confidence cyber threat actors are targeting Zoom to collect sensitive information from unwitting victims. Zoom collects, stores, and sells a lot of user data adding to the security concerns associated with Zoom. For more information on the data collected, stored, and sold by Zoom see the following link: https://www.zoom.com/en/trust/privacy/privacy-statement/
Recommendations:
The MC3 recommends any organizations handling sensitive or confidential information, to consider alternative platforms with more robust security measures, including true end-to-end encryption, stronger authentication protocols, and more granular control over meeting access. Always review and update security settings on Zoom to mitigate risks but be mindful that no platform is immune to vulnerabilities.
Alternate means of video teleconferencing:
Google Meet
Microsoft Teams
Cisco Webex
If your organization must use Zoom be sure to update to the most recent version. By staying informed about the risks associated with Zoom, organizations can make better decisions about which tools to trust for their digital communications.

Hi, Do you guys know if there is a way to Schedule Group Messages?
I send various messages regularly to my group and it would be great if I could skip always posting them manually.
Reminders are a great option in the Chat but I would like to schedule them instead, ahead of time.

I was recording on my computer locally. After sometime lost WIFI for a few minutes. After reconnecting I do not find any recording. Please advise how to find it. It recorded only half the event

I have a bizarre think happening and I can't figure it out. I recently purchased 3 Yealink RoomCast appliances licensed for and running Zoom Rooms. The plan is to use these as both digital signage machines and airplay receivers so that our teachers can mirror their screens. We have six total Zoom Rooms (Logitech Taps/Windows NUC) that work more or less as expected. I've also purchased a handful of Azulle Ally windows appliances with Zoom Rooms to do the same thing. They perform their functions, but are a bit tricky to manage. The weird problem I'm running into is that the Yealink Devices work as expected from 8:00am EST until about 12:00pm EST. My teachers can airplay to them and all is well. By 1:00pm EST, however, all three of the Yealink devices disappear from being seen by any of our Macs or iPads or iPhones. The device is still turned on. It is still visible and controllable via the control panel at zoom.us in my account portal. I can reset it or reboot it...but it stops being visible for Airplay Screensharing for at least 30-45 minutes. As I type this, they just came back into visibility. This happens daily. All of the system settings in Zoom are identical to my Azulle and Logitech appliances, but only these new Yealinks are dropping from visibility. Has anyone seen similar behaviors on their Zoom Platforms? Does anyone have a handy solution? Thanks!

I'm on Zoom Version 6.3.11 (50104) on MacBook Air MacOS 15.3.2 (24D81) I have been teaching online since lockdown and I use Classic whiteboard for notes. I often switch to share a webpage or a pdf then come back to the whiteboard and continue the notes. This works fine. I share the notes with the student after the lesson. Today, following the update, every time I switch back to Classic whiteboard all the notes are gone and I've got a blank whiteboard. This is exceedingly disruptive as we normally carry on with the same calculations through the lesson and now all the work we've done is gone every time we come back after looking at a different screen, for example, the pdf of the problem we're working on. I explain to the students that every once in a while Zoom releases an update that ruins everything, and it's happened again. Please can someone direct me to the setting that makes the Classic whiteboard remain intact if you stop sharing it, share a different screen, then come back to it? Thanks!

I'm using a private Zoom Marketplace app I created to send webhooks for when a meeting starts, ends, and when the recording is available in the cloud. In this last event, I'm using my own Python code so that, upon receiving this event, the meeting recording is downloaded. I'm currently downloading the recording transcript manually (by going to the "Cloud Recordings" tab on the Zoom page), but I'm wondering if there's a way to automatically download the transcript when I receive the notification that the recording is available in the cloud.
