On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

What are the options to save call recordings for people that leave the company? We do not want to lose the recordings. We need them for historical purposes.

If you have a business enterprise you should be able to change the data retention to how ever many days you would like. By default it is set to 30 days in Zoom.
Phone System Management> Logs> Recordings
If you use the sidebar and go to the area mentioned above you should be able to download the recordings you would like as well.

Hi, I'm not sure what scale you have at your company, but when manually deleting users in the admin portal there is an option (via popup) that allows you to transfer recordings to another user. Maybe there is a way to automate this if you are deleting users regularly (larger company).

@bbazian - Alternate option, you can use Zoom Phone APIs E.g. phoneuserrecordings to download the recording file to your own storage (there's the one-time dev-ops effort needed to create a scheduled script).. Full ZP API list - zoom-phone-api
