Vote now Hi All, [SEE UPDATE AT BOTTOM] We are a school with Zoom VOIP phone service and a mix of Polycom VVX 311 and VVX 411 phones. In one of our buildings, we perform intercom paging by calling into an Algo 8301 IP Paging Adapter which is paired to a Bogen PCM2000 zone paging system. When the algo receives our call, it plays a chime to let us know it has answered. We then need to press some buttons on our phone to signal to the PCM2000 which zone we would like to talk to. For example, the button press we use most often is *01 to page to just our internal building speakers. Our issue is that the button presses are very laggy when we do them from the Polycoms. The tones don't come out right away and often come out in a burst all at once. It doesn't matter how fast or slow we dial the sequence. There's always an unpredictable timing to the tones coming out. Because of that, we frequently need to try multiple times before the Bogen PCM2000 gets the signal and initiates the intercom page. Two very important things to note about this situation: (1) we don't have this issue when calling into the Algo from the Zoom smartphone app, and (2) in another building of ours where we have the Algo but not the Bogen, we don't have this issue. Based on the above, it's my assumption that the issue lies with how the Algo or the Polycom talks to the Bogen. I know this is a long stretch, but I'm hoping someone might have a generic suggestion to resolve this like "Switch your DTMF detection type to X instead of Y." Please let me know any ideas you might have. Thank you! [UPDATE] I think I've pinpointed exactly what's going on. When we press the * key on our phones, a tiny menu appears suggesting symbols (similar to the old T9 style typing). The suggestions in the menu are "* + , ; p". No other key on the phone suggests options to you like that, including the # key. It only happens on the * key. Does anyone know how to tell the Polycoms not to do that when you press the * key? I think that would solve our issue entirely.

I have a user who has the same settings as a few hundred others, and when they create meetings and add attendees, none of the attendees get the invite. Support has been useless.
Hello. For several years I have benn using the advanced Share function "Powerpoint as Bakground" that you can find when you open "Share" and then choose the "Advanced" tab, but in the latest versions of Zoom this function is not working, it is greyed out, and there is a yellow warning sign (see the attached picture). The function is very useful if you want to start a meeting with a welcome text. When you use this function, it is very easy to use the meeting functions while sharing, because Zoom directly shares the Powerpoint-file, you don't have to open a new window to share. If Zoom has discontinued using this function, it would have been nice to be told, or that Zoom just removed the function. Anyone who have had the same challenge and found a solution?

I'm running online singing lessons using a Macbook Air, and always have original sound for musicians enabled so that my voice doesn't cut out and I can play the piano at the same time. Of late - the last month or so - I find my students are complaining they can't hear me. I'm too quiet. I've tried increasing the microphone input, but it's on its max. The automatic adjustment doesn't work either. Am I missing a new setting somewhere?

I hope you're all doing well. I've been encountering a bit of a challenge lately and was wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar. When I try to share my screen during a Sigma Free Fire gaming session on Zoom, I've noticed some annoying voice issues. The audio seems to be distorted or unclear, making it difficult for others to hear me properly. I've tried adjusting my settings both in the game and on Zoom, but the problem persists. Has anyone else faced a similar issue or perhaps found a solution to improve the audio quality while screen sharing during gaming sessions?

Hello! Our IT/Zoom Admin accounts installed the Pardot package for zoom. It seemed as if they added me and my team to the list of people who can access it. However, when I go to add pardot to my individual zoom account it is blocked saying I don't have permission. Where can I go in settings that verifies that I have the app? I would assume if it was added it would say "added/installed" on marketplace page not asking me to "add" it even though it's blocked off. It clearly says below I don't have permission to add it and I showed this to IT. However they are insisting my issue is on the Pardot side. On Pardot side I have 0 connected apps for webinars atm... I'm just hoping someone can confirm that IT needs to add permission for me to actually add the app or am I missing something????' Thanks!

Hey guys, I’m trying to streamline my communication and support for my dropshipping store using Zoom, but I’m running into some issues. I want to offer live consultations or support calls for my customers, but I’m not sure how to integrate Zoom with my store (using Sellvia) or if it’s even worth it. Anyone here using Zoom for customer service or product consultations? How do you set it up, and does it actually help with sales or customer satisfaction? Would love to hear your experiences!

I’ve been looking into ways to automate customer support for my ecommerce store using Zoom and integrating it with Sellvia, my order fulfillment platform. The goal is to provide real-time, personalized assistance to customers by scheduling Zoom calls automatically based on their order status or any issues they may encounter. Has anyone here worked on integrating Zoom’s API with third-party ecommerce systems, particularly for order management and support? I’m specifically interested in automating customer meeting scheduling, syncing order updates, and using Zoom’s API to streamline the support process.

We schedule zoom meetings for trainings and webinars and interactions. We have 4 accounts and about 12 persons authorised to schedule. We are looking at scheduler to help as to which slot and which account is available
I have a new zoom scheduler subscription and I'm setting up a schedule there, so that I can give one-to-one sessions to clients. I am having trouble finding information on how zoom scheduler keeps meetings secure and private, what meeting features will be enabled/not enabled by the scheduler automatically, and how I can customize any security/privacy features? For example, I'd like to offer a complimentary short chat with potential clients to help them evaluate whether they'd like to work with me. How can I safely offer this without this offer being open to misuse? Thank you!
