I have been leading a consistent Zoom meeting every morning. Done it for 5 years now. I'm wanting to know if all the people who have ever come to the meeting after they register their email is there a setting that Zoom has all we can send them an email on a regular basis. Like the automated system does for webinars. I get emails for webinars on the consistent basis. And I'm wondering if we can send out the same kind of consistent notifications to remember this meeting that we do everyday. Any help is appreciated

We have extensively investigated the Zoom for Webinar out of the box Application for Salesforce.  We use Salesforce Campaigns with Campaign Members to invite large swaths of our constituency to our events.  Our Webinars average 600 invitees. We found the Zoom Webinar for Salesforce App to contain the functionality we seek to be able to have a webinar platform that integrates with the way we use campaigns.  However, there are so many limitations.

  1. Zoom Add to Webinar button for Contacts and Leads.  Zoom has an add to webinar button
  • Known limitations
    1. can only add up to 10 members from a listview at a time
    2. cannot add members from Campaign Member related list on Campaigns directly nor can it add members from a report.
      1. The button can be used to add campaign members using Contact and or Lead Listview or from the Contact or Lead record directly.  However, the button limits the number of invitees added through this feature at one time to 10.  This means if we have a listview of 50 contacts and want to add them to the Campaign we have to add them in batches of 10 to succeed anymore and those records just drop off and are not added.
  1. Zoom can accept CSV upload of members very cool functionality it will match to existing contacts or leads on email and if no match found create them as a lead and add them to the Campaign.
  • Known limitations
    • Zoom app can only create 10-13 records loaded through CSV as campaign members in Salesforce successfully.  All the remaining get a Webinar Registrant record but are not successfully linked to the Campaign (no campaign member record is created)
  1. Zooms code is not very open, as such we cannot even with our awesome and skilled developer create a lastmile solution to have Zoom operate the way we need.
  2. Zoom Developer General App was not easy to set up required approvals and would not work beyond these limitations so we did not proceed with this attempt.
In Conclusion.  Zoom for Salesforce Webinar functionality is almost great.  Instead it is a mediocre product likely not to meet the needs of most orgs using Campaign Events to manage Webinar invitees in excess of a few dozen.  I hope they consider improving the product.  I do plan to enter some feature requests.

Hi,

How do I disable this pop up when someone raises their hand? The participants who've raised their hands get moved to the top of the gallery as it is. This pop up seems unhelpful and besides that the host has to keep closing the pop up each time someone raises their hand.

In the participants panel we get two more notifications for a raised hand:

Please disable the pop up message. Thank you!

I’m currently using the Zoom Basic plan to create instant meetings through API requests and display them on my website using the component view. I noticed that with both the Basic and Pro plans, I can’t host multiple meetings at the same time. If I purchase the Video SDK Pay As You Go plan, will I be able to host multiple meetings simultaneously?

Did you know that you can link accounts to an organization?

Account owners and administrators have the capability to link several Zoom accounts to form an organization. Once these accounts are linked, they will have the ability to efficiently search for contacts, engage in chat, and conduct meetings. By linking your accounts as an organization, members will be relieved from the necessity of manually adding contacts from associated accounts to facilitate communication.

The requirement for linking accounts to an organization is that Account owner or Admin with the privilege to edit Account Profile settings.

Please take a moment to check out this Knowledge Base Article about Linking Accounts to an Organization. It provides detailed information on Creating a New Organization, Managing Linked Accounts as the Owner, and Linking an Existing Organization.

By linking your accounts, you can efficiently manage multiple accounts with the convenience of assigning a single administrator, thereby reducing the complexity of having multiple administrators across your various accounts.

Zoom ignores Logitech / LogiTune camera settings

I recently upgraded to a new Macbook Pro with Monterey, and since then Zoom has been giving me problems with the webcam I use for my home office.

I use a Logitech c922 camera with the LogiTune software to crop the camera to focus only on a part of my home office background. However, every time Zoom grabs camera access (including starting a meeting, turning the camera on and off, or even going into video preferences), it treats it as if I am using the default camera settings, ignoring the LogiTune setup.

I can restore the settings by going back to the LogiTune setup process (at which point Zoom recognizes the settings I put in beforehand), but I don't want to be showing my full background for the first 10-15 seconds of each meeting I have.

This is also *only* a Zoom problem -- all other applications that use the camera accept the LogiTune settings without issue. This is also an issue with alternate Logitech software (G Hub) that again works with all other programs.

This issue might be related to another unsolved problem with Logitech cameras not working in HD on new Macs (https://community.zoom.com/t5/Chat/Anybody-else-having-problem-with-Logitech-webcam-with-the-new/m-p/22394#!) since the solutions seem to be similar.

But has anyone found settings in Zoom that can be changed to fix this issue, or any other workaround?

Thanks!

I recently started experiencing horrible static feedback when I switch on the Orginal Sound feature. I use a MacBook Air and Rode ll mic system. Everything worked fine until a month ago, now I cannot figure out what the issue is...I've done updates, restarts, changed cables, new mics and still the horrible sound persists.

I cannot hear it while the meeting in on, but the clients can hear the buzzing static and it's on the recording. So I'm doing a million test recordings to trouble shoot but nothing is working!

Please, anyone, help!
