Dear Zoom community,

I’m really hoping for your help.  I’m not techy, so I’m trying to include all the relevant info – apologies in advance for any missing bits/things that aren’t clear.

I have a Macbook 13” running Sonoma 14.7.1, and am using  Zoom Version: 6.2.11 (43613).  I use Zoom professionally, but as the Mac camera is such poor quality, I have been using an external camera – a Logitech for Creators StreamCam, full HD 1080p 60Fps, USB-C.  Alas, something very weird started to happen in Zoom about 4 months ago where the visual screen glitches, splitting the screen repeatedly.  This is also happening with another x2 cameras I got to try and resolve the problem – a Logitech Webcam C920 and a Razer Kiyo X (both of which are USB-B so needed a converter).  All of the cameras work fine in a Lenovo laptop running Windows, and they all work fine in other video apps on the Mac, like Google meet, Photobooth etc (although once the splitting was happening in the Logitech GHUB screen too with the Logitech Webcam C920).

With the help of my partner, we’ve tried downloading old versions of Zoom (still the same problem), multiple reloads and restarts, deselecting: “optimize quality of the video I send with de-noise,” changed the anti-flicker to 50 (although it’s not a flicker – it’s a splitting of the screen)… I've tried turning off hardware acceleration with no luck.

Anything else I could try?!  Thank you so much for your thoughts.

The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation....

I have my Zoom VDI Workplace V6.1.13 installed and I am upgrading the version from my tenant.... the channel on the tenant is set to the latest version 6.2.11.... The application sees that there is an update pending as the registry is pointing to the... Show more

I have my Zoom VDI Workplace V6.1.13 installed and I am upgrading the version from my tenant.... the channel on the tenant is set to the latest version 6.2.11....  The application sees that there is an update pending as the registry is pointing to the correct channel in the tenant....
When I reboot the Vmware VDI or close down Zoom in the system tray and re-open Zoom it should automatically update the version, but I am receiving the message:
The System Administrator has set policies to prevent this installation....
It's like the installer is no longer allowing a standard user to install the update, or the user has no rights to uninstall the current version...
Anyone have any ideas?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I had a Zoom piano recital for my students today which was the worst remote recital I have ever had; personally I'd like my money back for becoming a Zoom Pro member.  Even after guiding my students' parents to enable Original Sound, keyboards were not audible, some were sporadically audible and most had the worst sound possible.  Never again!

I'm interested which plan is best for me if I make around 30-40 sales calls a week, each lasting about an hour? I'm just so tired of having to reconnect in the middle of the call, I'm loosing all my conversions plz help...

Zoom Quality

Hi All,

 

We regularly hold webinars/workshops via Zoom, however the quality sn't great considering we have the toggle set to HD Quality. Does any one know of anything else we can do to improve video  quality?

My Zoom Call Ends When Co-Worker Starts Another Zoom Call But I Am The Call Owner

I have run into multiple instances now where I am the owner of a zoom call and another co-worker starts a zoom call of their own and it ends my zoom call.  The co-worker originally created the re-occurring meeting and transferred the call ownership to me a while back.  The co-worker is no longer on the call invites.  Anyone know why that would be happening?

How do you turn off this prompt to turn on reactions at the upper part of the screen?

See attached. It happens at the start of every meeting when I turn on my video until I click on it to go away.
