Pointer on new whiteboard
I'm using the new Zoom whiteboard on an iPad - I don't see a pointer anymore to point to items on the screen? Does anyone know if this is still possible? It was a very useful feature of the old whiteboard.

Hi Community Friends, Twice today I've had text disappear from one of my completed templates. I'm attaching a png of a before and after shot that clearly shows what happened. I'm a bit disappointed and hoping this doesn't continue to happen. Is this happening to anybody else? Is there a fix or maybe a way to prevent it that I'm not aware of? Blessings, Melissa

Good morning, In our upcoming training sessions, we will have participants moved into breakout rooms. Once there, we would like them to have the ability to open a whiteboard (like using a flipchart) to gather their group discussions, and then have the ability to save and then share their whiteboards (like flipchart paper) with everyone once they return to the main room. Is this possible? and if so, how is this achieved? Thank you

I am running an Asus Windows 10 compter. I am a trainer and I create customized templates which go along with the training materials. I cannot get Zoom to allow me to use the personal templates within the breakout rooms and give them functionality. I have looked for videos but all the videos discuss the whiteboard but nothing about my templates or using personal templates. What must I do to use only personal templates in the breakout rooms?

Hi I am new to this platform. I need to learn if I can upload pdf file ( a book) and add post-it notes to it so I can do annotations on it for students. I have access to the zoom account used for the school, however, I created my own account so I can practice. Please, if anyone, can help me with directions I would appreciate it.

When I click on an object using the Select tool, I do not see the handle for rotating the shape—i.e., the "double arrow icon in the lower left corner" mentioned on this Zoom help page in the "Rotate objects" section: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/11881743398413-Using-the-Select-tool Therefore, I'm unable to rotate objects. Please help!

Similarly, as soon as I rest my hand on the whiteboard to write, the zoom button on the bottom right is activated, and constantly zooms the whiteboard in/out. The second issue have is that I cannot see the participants video screen any more - in the previous version I could see their video on the bottom right of my feed (iPad). Without this, it makes face-to-face meeting very difficult!
With the newly updated Whiteboard I no longer have the option of 'use Apple Pen' only - this means that as soon as my hand touches the whiteboard, the screen starts to move right/left or up/down, making it hard to write on the whiteboard. Is there a way to lock the scree and stop it from moving? In the older version, activating the 'apple pen only' mode meant I could rest my hand on the iPad screen with no ill-effects to the whiteboard.
Is there a way to reposition any of the toolbars, especially the ones on the top left and bottom right of the screen, so one can write on the whiteboard while resting the hand on it?
Any tips would be much appreciated!

Hi.
I am using Zoom's free account, and am the sole user.
That means I am also the admin, right ?
Recently, I started using Zoom's collaborative Whiteboards, and would like to share them.
However, the error message says that I can't share outside of my organisation.
When i check the settings, some options are greyed out.
No matter how I click, i cannot seem to get pass this error message.
To anyone reading this, would greatly appreciate any help to fix this issue.
Many thanks !!

When I tried to cancel the white board feature subscription, it says it can't be cancelled.
Can anyone help?
Lately, whenever I use my tablet pen to write on the presentation whiteboard for my classes, it is not as sure-fire as before. Sometimes, what I write doesn't appear on the whiteboard at all, or missing some letters even though I am sure I have actually moved my tablet pen to write them. It happens so often that it is becoming quite irritating; I have to keep going back to re-write those missing letters. Wonder what is the cause/s of it all. Is there a workaround? I noticed that it all started to be like it is now after I have upgraded to the latest ZOOM software (where the collaborative whiteboard was introduced). Is it something to do with this?
I have tried writing on a blank PowerPoint, Word and even on a blank PDF page - my tablet pen works fine.
Is there a way to roll back to the version of ZOOM without the collaborative whiteboard? So that I can test out what I have suspected?
If you have encountered similar problems please share. If you have a solution for my problem - Better!! 🙂
