How do I contact Zoom to inquire about inaccurate reporting data for Webinars? For example, I know 20+ people registered to attend my webinar, but Zoom is showing only 14 registrants when I export the list. This has been an ongoing issue, and I don't know why Reports is not showing accurate data in real time.

Dear Zoom Team,

I am writing to express our concern regarding the recent update to your chat feature during meetings. The new format, which opens a separate chat window for each participant, is extremely inconvenient and disruptive, especially during sessions with a large number of attendees.

In scenarios where over 100 participants are actively sending messages, it becomes practically impossible to follow conversations or provide timely responses. The fragmented experience severely affects the efficiency of communication and hampers engagement during meetings and webinars.

We have been long-time users of Zoom and truly appreciate the platform. However, if this issue persists without a revert or improvement in functionality, we will be forced to explore alternative platforms that offer a more manageable and unified chat experience.

We hope Zoom considers this feedback seriously and addresses the usability concerns at the earliest.

I want to enable Team Chat for a single group, leaving it disabled for the rest of the tenant.

  1. I have Team Chat disabled in Account Settings, but not enforced.
  2. In the Group's settings, I enabled Team Chat and configured security settings as desired.
  3. Members of this group do not have the Chat icon available in the desktop or web app, even 30 minutes later

I found this thread with a kooky workaround, that seems to be the actual (only?) approved solution: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Customer-Success-Forum/Team-Chat-Question/m-p/135217/thread-id/1445

 

2 years later, is this still the only way to enable Team Chat for a small group of users?

It seems silly to have to enable this feature for all users and then disable it for the 98% not involved in this project. It also means employee onboarding documentation needs to be updated so new employees get added to the group that disabled Team Chat.

This is considered an "insecure by default" posture (needing to take an action to maintain security) and would not be allowed in organizations with stricter security standards than ours.

Is there a way to paste formatted text form the clipboard unformatted in the Team Chat in the app?

 

I can't seem to be able to find one for such a basic functionality. Constant clearing the formatting gets quite tedious.

 

Every major browser now supports Ctrl+Shift+V for this.

 

(Please don't suggest using some Notepad as an intermediate step)

Hello Zoom Team and Community,

I'm reaching out to request an important feature for Arabic-speaking users of Zoom Workplace.

Currently, when we type messages in Arabic (especially when mixed with English), the chat interface does not display them properly — the text alignment is left-to-right, which causes confusion and makes the messages hard to read. This affects not only readability but also the overall communication experience for Arabic users.

It would be incredibly helpful if Zoom Workplace could support **right-to-left (RTL)** text rendering in chat, similar to how other platforms handle Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian. This is essential for teams working in multilingual environments and would make Zoom more inclusive and user-friendly.

I hope this can be passed on to the product team, and I’d appreciate any updates or workarounds from the community in the meantime.
