Hello, everyone.  Thank you for your help with this.  Here is my issue. 

 

Until a few months ago, I used to be able to do file sharing from a file that was saved on my laptop -- I could put it up on the chat window by clicking the YOUR COMPUTER option, find the file that was saved in my laptop and then upload it onto the Chat Window for everyone to access it and download it. 

 

But I can't  seem to do that anymore.  Does anyone know what's going?  I have a MacBook Pro -- iOS Ventura (ie: above 13).  

 

FYI:  Yes. I tried EVERYTHING in the FAQ's -- including (among many things) going to Account Settings... and enabling File Sharing.  However, it was ALREADY turned on.  Either way, I turned it off.. then turned it back on... nothing.  So, after that... I even logged on and off ZOOM to see if that reset it... nothing.  Changed nothing. 

 

I even then went into the Chat options... checked every area where I could toggle file sharing... but, still not working. Everything I try does not work. When I click on the "YOUR COMPUTER" option in the chat window... it just stays greyed out... does not let me even click on it.  NOWHERE in the FAQ's does it answer how to fix this overall issue.  I have a PRO account, so it's not like I'm not paying for Zoom.  I am.  But even then, they say I don't qualify for live support.  This feels like they want to suck money out of you. 

 

Hoping someone here can help me figure this out.   Please.  I appreciate your help.  Thank you.

There is no chat option in the meetings of any other participants or co-hosts. I tried to change every setting I could find, but still: Chat messages that I send in meetings from my (pro) host-account do not show for other participants, and they simply don't have a chat button in their screen.
What setting can I try, to use the chat option again?

Sending of files via Chat

In my privat-Account I can´t send files, because the option in the menu is grey.
It saiz, the option should be closed by the administrator. But there is no administrator except myself

I am searching for a way to have an announcement for users when they enter the meeting—something in the chat window.  I have a daily meeting at 9, and we put information in the chat, however, users who come in late will not see the announcement so we have to enter it twice or even move.  Can we leave a banner or a pinned chat at the top so that even latecomers will see the message?

Is there a setting to allow attendees to view chat messages and uploaded files that were added before they joined? For example, if someone joins late, can they still see the chat and files? 

 

Additionally, is there a way to attach files, or links that would appear as a banner in zoom (outside of the chat)? 

These files could be added at the time of scheduling the meeting or within the meeting once it has commenced. 

 

I would like to find a way to add a couple of standard files to the zoom chat that are easily visible and accessible and stand out to users even if they do not have the chat open.

Is there some way to pin a message in the chat so whenever someone joins late, they'll be able to see a pinned message in chat no matter how far up or down they scroll? If this isn't a feature, this really should have been implemented a while back. I... Show more

Is there some way to pin a message in the chat so whenever someone joins late, they'll be able to see a pinned message in chat no matter how far up or down they scroll? How do I download team chat logs? Possible identity theft

  • Is there a way to download my team chat logs? I think someone might be trying to steal my identity and I need to save them as evidence. Is screenshotting all I can do? I'm a free user. Thanks!

Buenos días, tengo un inconveniente, al momento de entrar a una charla en la pantalla de todos se ve como nombre el nombre de la carpeta de usuario de Windows ( C:\Users\NNN ) y no el configurado en el perfil, no sucede siempre, por lo general cuando no esta activada mi cámara, me podrían decir como hacer para que esto no suceda y que siempre aparezca el nombre del perfil ?

I've read in the documentary that there's an option to enable "read receipts for messages" in Team-Chat. But I can't find the option "Visibility" or anything else like this in the settings. Is this a PRO feature? We're just a basic user (Version: 6.1.11 (39163)) on MacOS.

Cannot add members to a group

I am not able to add members to a group or channel. I receive an error message: this email address cannot join. These addresses are in my personal contacts.
