I am hosting a meeting. I get setup and ready to go and while I am waiting for my attendees, I enter a bunch of messages into the Chat. FIrst Good Morning! Then a bunch of instructions for accessing virtual machines etc. About 5 messages in all - all good stuff to help make the session a success. People start entering and asking me questions which I already wrote answer too. I am like don't you see my messages in the chat? NOPE! None of it? Why? This is so stupid. I can't believe my client switch from Adobe Connect to zoom. Oh right to save money. Well, you get what you paid for. Hopefully, Zoom will fix this mess called Chat.

According to the requirements I found:

Image only without a green screen

  • Zoom desktop client, version 5.2.0 or higher
  • Windows 7, 8, and 10 (64-bit)
  • Supported processors 
    • Intel i5
      • 2 cores or higher
      • 3rd generation or higher

 

It looks to me like I should be able to do this on my computer which shows:

Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz, 3301 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

 

However, when I try to select it, I get a message that says: "Your device does not support Video Virtual Backgrounds. Learn More" and the link doesn't work.  I'm just trying to pick a picture, or blur and they are all greyed out.

 

I have Version 5.10.6 (5889) on Windows10

Zoom on former IMAC does not transfer to. new IMAC

I have a new IMAC but the zoom does not transfer to. it. I've signed in with. my ID but I keep. getting referred to. installer which takes me in a circle.  The zoom icon never appears.  can. someone help. me with. this

Chat during a meeting or webinar

Could I change chat settings during a meting/webinar? For example allow people/participants to chat at the beggining and block the chat after a moment?

Changing the host while Breakout Rooms are still open

Whenever I reassign  being a host to somebody or assigning someone as a co-host, users who will join the Break-out room, can no longer join the break-out room. What is the reason and solution for this?

Dear Zoom crew and all community, 

I wonder can I solve my business case with Zoom (any licensed account/accounts). 
I have 100+ contractors (fitness trainers) who have weekly 1-1 meetings with our clients (meetings 30-90 min, need to be recorded sometimes).  Max capacity is about 10 sessions at the same time. 

So I am trying to figure out:
can we use just 10 paid licenses instead of 100? The main problem is how correctly assign a contractor with the right license that has not been picked by another contractor at this moment yet (we can do it manually but it's a nightmare).
I assume that zoom somehow can automatically do these assignments. However, not sure though. Could you give me any hints/ideas on what zoom features can do so?
