I used to just tell my students: message me, and only me (not use group chat) during a lecture. then after the meeting is done, I see all of the chat messages in the (lokaly recorded) saved text file. 
Now with the new Chat Funktion: where can i see (after the meeting is over) all of the private messages my students wrote to me?

How to add apps to public group chat

Curious 👀 how do I add an app or something or someone that is not external to a public group chat/channel 

Does Zoom have a polls/quiz option for the group chats?

Deactivated user indicator

When we disable a user account in Active Directory, Zoom will display an obvious "DEACTIVATED" symbol next to the user's name in Zoom Workplace.  This has been problematic when we've disabled access due to a termination.  Other users are sometimes seeing this status as the first indicator that someone is no longer with the company before they it is appropriate for them to be aware.  I'd like to find a way to opt out of Zoom showing this user status if possible.  Changing the appearance of their name, such as italicizing seems like it would be a better user experience for perception VS the current platform method to indicate an account is disabled.  

 

We've also ran into this issue when someone is on a temporary leave of absence and their account is disabled as a precaution while they are away.  This sometimes gets interpreted as the user is no longer with the company in these situations as well.

Hello, I am part of a basic plan for a small group. I've been added to a team chat channel and can see that there are unread notifications. However, when I access the channel through the webapp (on Firefox and Chrome), I cannot see the channel nor can I search for the channel. Am I doing something wrong or does the person who set up the channel need to re-add me? Thank you!

Automatic away status when locking PC

It used to automatically change my status to away when I locked my PC. Now it's not doing that and it has to wait for the inactivity time. I don't want it to do that because sometimes I'm at my PC having a discussion with someone so don't want it to ... Show more

It used to automatically change my status to away when I locked my PC.  Now it's not doing that and it has to wait for the inactivity time. I don't want it to do that because sometimes I'm at my PC having a discussion with someone so don't want it to go to away status.  I want it to turn to away like it did before.  How do I change that back?

I tried to find articles related to this. I know that Zoom provided Zapier Integration that allows it to listen to Team Chat. However, I can’t make it work.

 

I already specified the trigger and the channel to listen but the test records keep on showing test payload. We already tested both private and public channel, new mentions, etc. Nothing works as I can’t find sample of real message. 

 

Anyone knows the fix or maybe has encountered same issues?

Hey guys. Has anyone managed to find a solution to the issue with the new chat functionality since the recent update? I teach 25-30 children and its not practical to press on EACH tab to view their comments every single time. Obviously put together by a developer who only has 1-2 people in his zoom meetings.  There was a solution given in another thread about pressing a 'disable group chat' option but i cant view it on my web log in, nor could many other people in the thread. 

 

This is another issue i am having with zoom - many responses from their customer care team is copied and pasted but not checked to see if its still relevant. This is the 3rd time a 'fix' has been given that is obviuosly taken from a previous version. They need to pull up their socks. Their staff also need to wake up. Last week i spoke to some guy called Rodel who told me the chat box had NOT been changed and its always been like this. I have been using this for 5 years now and this guy is telling me I have been dreaming. Their staff and developers need to sort this nonsense out.

One of our users has raised an issue in that when he is completing "wrap up engagement" in contact centre there are no alternative spelling given for spelling mistakes.
He does not have this issue in team chat etc, just the contact centre, any suggestions?

He is using a windows laptop.

The example in the screen shot showing provisioning spelled wrong but with no alternative spelling.
