Disable GIF autoplay in chat?

Hi,

Is there a way to prevent GIFs from autoplaying by default? Sometimes my team goes crazy with them and while that can be fun, it's also distracting, and it's annoying to have to pause all of them one at a time. If not, there should be, please add this as a user settings option.

Also, is there a way to minimize or hide them from the chat once I've seen them? That would help a lot with readability and focus.
