I have been using Zoom since 2020 and its the best app that worked for me during my classes and meetups during that time, I used to store messages video clips and every small memories that I had in my personal space to save in zoom (our own chat space). After online classes and everything came to an end I had stopped using Zoom in 2022 and had never used it ever since, but did login to a mobile from a PC. Today I finally logged in to my laptop after 2 years of not using it, just to see all my messages and files that were sent to my personal chats not there, I have never faced this with zoom in all the 3 years of my usage. Was this something that happened after a new update or version release? Is there any way to get all those back?

Hi JawDriller - welcome to the Zoom Community. By default, the cloud storage retention period for chat messages is 2 years, but account owners and admins of paid accounts can change this length of time to as short as 1 day or up to 10 years. Retention period for chat messages stored in the cloud can be set either at the account level (applicable to all users on the account) or at a user group level (applicable to all users in the user group). However, for free accounts, cloud storage retention is set to 2 years and cannot be changed. If your profile is a paid account, you might want to check with your Zoom Admin how many days the retention's setup for your account.
