We use a Neat Bar to connect remotely in our conference room. In the past, when not necessarily in a meeting, but when we're gathered, we do screenshares through the device using Apple Screen Mirroring. For example, on our macs, we click the screen mirroring option, and "Conference Room" used to show up, for years. Lately, that option has disappeared.

 

Does anyone understand why this might happen. It is still enabled on our Zoom room settings.

 

I've reached out to the people at Neat and they told me it's a Zoom issue.

Yealink A10 ZDM and version problem

Yealink A10 set is not visible as ZDM (lack of full management capabilities) in addition, despite the update in Zoom visible with the old version.

What to do to make it visible not as android with correct version and connected to ZDM?A10_1.png

Feature Request: Plist or key option for Zoom Rooms auto-detection

In the Zoom Desktop Client there are options for Settings --> General --> Zoom Rooms -> "Only show when a nearby Zoom Room is detect" and "User Zooms auto-detection" 

Currently there is no plist option key to enable those features on all end points https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064957, leaving it up to the users to turn it on  

Any plist option to turn those on and guidance of security permission changes needed to the config profile as well would be appreciated

Resolved! Need 2 licenses to use the Zoom room?

Our small church has a paid Zoom account (one license). We were hoping to take a vote during an upcoming meeting, but from understand from my research, we cannot do this unless we buy another license for Zoom Room to use.

Is this correct??

When joining a Teams meeting from a zoom room it always asks for meeting passcode any way to remove?

 

Resolved! Zoom Rooms Upgrade

Recently installed Zoom Rooms. When I enter the activation code for the room I created, it says Zoom Rooms needs to be upgraded. IT personal said there is no Firewall that would prevent from upgrading. Just wanted to see if anyone has experience this... Show more

Zoom rooms soon to be disabled on Meta Portal hardware

We use a fleet of Meta Portals (10inch and Plus size) in the office. These work marvelously as Zoom Rooms clients and can be easily managed by the admin. I have noted after a recent meeting using one of the devices that a message appeared saying Meta (Facebook) will remove the Zoom app from the device in few weeks on January 31st.

 

I dug around online and there is absolutely zero information on any upcoming change on Meta's website. However, Zoom has a support page which confirms it.

 

If this were to happen, the Zoom Room clients would stop operating, correct? I mean, Rooms can't work without the Zoom app, it would seem. It is unclear if this is Meta's decision or Zoom's, but given that the app is set to be "removed" as opposed to simply becoming inoperable hints at Meta's hand. Is there nothing Zoom can do to talk them out of it? It's a 3rd party service, what does the hardware manufacturer care? Does Zoom have another hardware partner offering the same Zoom Rooms touchscreen functionality but who is more committed to their customer than Meta?

hi enveryone ,

we would like to get confirmation of Zoom room application audio processing , as we have a problem with our setup .
BELOW IS THE SETUP

we have Shure MXA920 - via Dante routing to - Biamp Tesira DSP - Analog output to - Poly codec G7500 - Running Zoom Application 

currently Audio Processing is used only in Mics ( PEQ) andin Biamp Tesira we are only receiving via Dante and routing with matrix mixer to analog output.

During Zoom call , when both end speak together or simultaneously - the audio from one end gets suppressed. is it normal behavior or audio processing conflict from the DSP or room system.

zoom rooms NDI audio input

when selecting NDI video from network, NDI audio is not flowing and its not possible to selected audio from the relevant  NDI source.

headphones

I use my headphones normally on other apps but it does not work with zoom. When I use my headphones with zoom the sound doesn't go into the headphones.
