On September 29, after I downloaded and installed Version 5.16.2 onto my Windows 10 system, the Zoom client starts, and then quickly and silently ends.  It shows up for just 1 second in Windows Task Manager. I uninstalled it, rebooted, and installed from an earlier version (September 9), and it works fine. Windows Task Manager shows very-high level of disk-drive activity (7200 RPM disk-drive), but that does not affect the usability of Zoom.

Ideas about what's wrong with the latest version?

Here is what I am told....

This person's associated email with her zoom account is a hotmail.com account, in case that is relevant. When she creates a new meeting and adds/invites people, some of those people do not get the invite, and it would seem that the people that do not get the invites , their domains are hosted on Microsoft.

So in other words, she creates a meeting sends an invite to *********** and *********** and ***********,  but person-3's email is hosted on Microsoft servers, person -1 and person-2 receive the invites but person-3 does not.

Person-3 checks their spam and junk folders and nothing is in there, even hours later.

I log into their MS portal office account and check their email logs and I do not see any incoming or rejected  emails from zoom.us or any zoom related domain name.

And she does not receive any bounces or indications that the email was never sent or delivered on her zoom account.

Any ideas or suggestions on what to check next?

I read that zoom could be blocking the hosted domain, but when i try to contact support it says i do not have a paid account and cannot request support.

Thanks to all and have a great day!

I'm not sure if I'm putting this in the correct forum.

When I opened Zoom it initiated an update.  During this process a Windows 11 dialogue box popped up asking if I would permit the app to make changes to windows and I was rushing a bit to join a meeting and clicked no instead of yes in error.  Well I closed the app and tried opening it again and it's not initiating another update, so apparently it thinks its up to date but whatever it had to change (registry?  Files?  I have no idea) would not have been done.  Zoom seems to be working but is this going to create a problem later on, like next time it tries to update or are there parts of the app that might crash or misbehave?  Will the next update fix it?  Is there a way to roll back and update again or force the update to repeat?

I am the host of a recurring meeting with folks who are not on my account.  I have another business commitment that will take me away from one of those recurrences.  How can I delegate one of the participants to act as host in my absence for this meeting only other than by deleting the meeting and having him create a new one of this occurrence in his own Zoom account?

Hello everyone,

In my last lecture, when the students were in the breakout rooms, my internet connection failed. When I logged in again, the host went to a student and I was alone in the main room, no longer able to manage or see the breakout rooms. I had to write an email to the attendee list and ask the host to close the breakout rooms and appoint me as co-host. Very uncomfortable.
What can I do in these cases? There is no way to get the host back.

Report to show all hosted meetings

Hi - I need to generate a report of all the meetings hosted by our users, excluding the ones they've joined as a guest. Ideally over the past X weeks or months. Is this possible?

}

In React Native , I'm calling the native code through bridge as below

import { NativeModules } from 'react-native';
const { ZoomViewControllerBridge } = NativeModules;
ZoomViewControllerBridge.presentZoomView();

The Zoom SDK initialization was successful, and the following line of code (meetingService startMeetingWithStartParam: user) was executed; however, nothing happens after that. When I try the same flow in native code, the delegate method (onMeetingStateChange) is called, but it's not getting called through the bridge.

What am I missing?

I'm interested in personalizing the in-meeting announcements or notifications in Zoom. Specifically, I'd like to know if there's a way to customize the content of the pop-up messages that participants receive during a meeting. Has anyone successfully done this, and if so, could you please share the steps or options available for customization?

Example: When an employee enables meeting summary, would we be able to edit/add to the message that currently pops up or add an additional pop up message completely customized to our standards?

Hi all,

I am setting up a values based coaching tool for children and young people, and the training I am giving for this means I need to see my viewers and for them to see me while I present my powerpoint slides.

Is there a way of doing this?

I wonder if it is because I am currently using a school laptop until I do this full time, and the permissions may not grant me the full range of potential zoom video presentation options.

If so, do I need to get my own lap top and start afresh?

Thanks,

Heather
