I can't do screen share because then they see what I see. Is the best option to screenshare & show the presentation from an iPhone/iPad?

1) constant freezing
2) unstable connections
3) chat replicates messages up to 60x
4) black screen when sharing document camera
5) lags when screen sharing video
6) audio constantly cuts out

Troubleshooting Attempts

3) Reset laptops to factory settings
4) clear caches and history
5) log into Zoom from my personal home internet with students
6) Reset students' home internet

Nothing has worked, and it has been 5 days. I use MacBook Pro 2020 and the students use the latest HP Chromebooks.

Hi all:

My old computer stuttered when I used video, so I thought that it was a problem with the computer. It had a AMD processor that wasn't the greatest. So, this weekend, I bought a shiny, new Intel Core 7 with and ARC graphics card, 16GB of RAM, and the whole shebang.

I start up my computer on Monday, I join Zoom Workplace after getting it configured and...

"I can't hear you."
"I missed that part."
"What did you say."

As a remote worker, this is horrible. I don't want to buy yet another computer--it is clearly a problem with Zoom.

Here's what I've tried:

Testing the audio--It often cuts out when I do this.
Changing the microphone--I have Beats ear buds, I have a mic on the computer. The computer mic seems to work better. But not always.
Changing the audio settings--I gave it a voiceprint because it seems that the background noise is really gating me out, and that is often how it seems. Whatever audio profile I use, I have this problem, but the personalized audio isolation seems to work the best. But it doesn't fix the problem.

My defaults are set to automatically join audio.

I spend all of my meetings now just looking at the audio feedback indicator to see if I'm heard.

I'm wracking my brain trying to solve this issue. It's driving me absolutely crazy. My windows 11 is updated to the latest version; I spent the first few days updating it. I downloaded Zoom Workplace from the MS store on the 29th of April 2024 the same day I bought my HP Envy.

My account has a personal room configured.  I assigned an "Alternate host" in the room. Meetings are scheduled via interaction from Calendly.  However, the alternate host, when they try to access a meeting, still log in as "guest", and require my approval and then me manually designating them as "Host" in the meeting.

Is there a way to permanently configure my Zoom account so that every new meeting created in the future will allow at least 2 hosts "out of the box", and either one have all the "host" permissions?

Resolved! Stopping users from forwarding my Zoom Meetings

Is there a way to stop invited people from forwarding a meeting invite to others? We are having an issue with people inviting other people to meetings without the hosts knowledge.

I have renewed Zoom today and the new version is 5.17.0

And now I can`t see any participants of my online meetings. Their video is ON, but I can`t see them.

If I press the NOTES button, the image of the participant appears immediately. But those NOTES disturb me during the meeting.

How can I solve the problem?

Hello! I work for an MSP, and a client of ours uses Zoom a great deal. She recently tried to add an additional room to a meeting that was in-progress, and nothing happened when she clicked on the Breakout Room icon. I have read a couple of support articles that seem to indicate that it is possible to add additional rooms, but a co-worker told me the only way to do this with a meeting that has begun is to close the current rooms, then re-create them plus the additional room. Is this true?  Thanks!

I took a screenshot of the new design (Zoom Workplace Version: 6.0.2 (33403) - working on a Mac with OS 14.4] and then put it in grayscale which helps find issues that might affect users with visual disabilities like color blindness and/or low vision.

There are a few WCAG issues:

- red on black is almost always problematic for those with the most common color blindness

- the text of the icons is really hard to see and do not meet minimum contrast requirements

- there is a link in blue text that is nearly impossible to discern and does not meet minimum contrast requirements

- the links in red text are very difficult to discern in gray scale

- the sharp line drawings of icons may be hard for those with low vision to see

Please take these issues into consideration and correct them.  They are negatively affecting a number of our employees/users.
