Screen sharing a video on the web I am unable to download

I want to screen share a video that is on the web during a meeting. I cannot download the video and share it from my computer. I have to go to the website link in order to access and play the video. Can someone tell me how to do this?

Zoom profile photo not saving

I am trying to save my profile photo which is saved as a .jpg and is 2MB, but it is not saving. What am I doing wrong?

Team 1 tried to start a recurring No Fixed Time meeting 30 minutes before a recurring Fixed Time Meeting was scheduled to start.

 

The No Fixed Time meeting would not start.

 

We have Pro with 1 license.  Is there a time limit that new (no fixed time) meetings can not start prior to a recurring time fixed meeting start time?

Distorted Video when joining meeting through Edge Browser

I am an IT manager with multiple PC's that have this same issue on all of my networks, Multiple PC's & Locations.

When joining a meeting via Edge through the browser the video is distorted w/ pink lines.

Even when the video is minimized to a small thumbnail - same issue.

Tried adding the zoom edge add-in & it made no difference.

Joining meeting via the downloadable application is NOT an option.

I DO NOT allow my users to download & install applications - Users MUST join via the browser.

an alternative browser - such as Google Chrome is also NOT an option.

I have screenshots available, but no way here to upload them.

Hi there,

 

I have a large meeting coming up tomorrow and the participants were required to register and also tell me which breakout session they want to attend. Of course, only half of them gave me the information on the breakout session. Is ist possible that I pre-assign those who did let me know while the others can choose a breakout session spontaneously and on their own?

 

I test-tried it but the participant who was not pre-assigned was just staying in the main session without any option to enter a breakout session.

 

Any ideas?

Missing Meeting

I cannot find a meeting which was scheduled for today, tried searching using the meeting ID number as well but nothing, there is a recording for the meeting, but I cannot pull a meeting attendance report.

Drag function during remote control

Hi all,

 

I was wondering if anyone faced the issue for dragging the object while doing the remote control on mobile or tablet.

This works perfectly on the desktop but not on mobile and table. Is there any way to resolve this issue?

I just want to share my expierence with something very simple that took me hours to solve. So I hope the developers that look at all our user tools and settings can make this better.I needed to connect the sound of the meeting to a Bluetooth speaker.... Show more

I just want to share my expierence with something very simple that took me hours to solve. So I hope the developers that look at all our user tools and settings can make this better.

I needed to connect the sound of the meeting to a Bluetooth speaker. 

It took me 3 hours to find out, so of course I missed the meeting.

I asked your chatbot: where can I find the audio settings?

Chatbot answer: I did not understand the question.

I got not one answer from the chat bot.

Bing was better, said I had to click the 'gear icon of settings' and that I could find this if I clicked on my profile.

My profile was nowhere .

After 2 hours of browsing I found out that I could do a test meeting. There I found out that your audio settings are hidden under the microphone icon.

My suggestions: 1. replace that microphone icon for a normal sound icon. Or name it audio in/out.

2. Work on your chatbot, it understands not even the simplest of questions.

3. Make sure that as soon as somebody typs in 'audio settings' in your help- or searchfunctions, that you give this very simple answer : click the microphone icon in your meeting.

Don t start giving all complicated advices about communities, licenses, terms and guidelines, membership, buying and signing in possibilities, and who knows what.

It s very simple but you made it incredibly complicated and I missed 2 meetings because of this lack of giving a practical answers to a very simple question.

Resolved! Cannot install on MacBook Air (running Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92))

I am at my wits end with Zoom and yesterday another issue 😞

Sorry for putting this in the Meetings board but there is not one for Install Issues and did not know where to put it.

 

I am on a MacBook Air running on Sonoma 14.1.2 (23B92).

 

I click to install Zoom, expecting a seamless install. I let it install to the standard places (i.e. I did not change anything during install, just clicked thru the Wizard. It appears at first to have worked and shows Zoom in my Applications.

 

But... if you try and open Zoom I get this bonkers pop up with no actions except 'Done' - and when you click Done, it closes - but Zoom does not work.

 

I have tried: uninstalling and starting again. I have tried a fresh download and starting again.

But this does not work and I still get the pop up window.

 

Has anyone seen this fault before and any idea what the issue is or how to fix?

 

I would add a screen shot here but you can't add an image? 😞

 

We are a charity and are paying for Zoom, not on the free version so it's particularly exasperating. 😞

I would like to know if it is possible to use one zoom account for multiple meetings that take place on the same date and time.
