If I scheduled a meeting as the owner/basic, then afterwards changed that user type to owner/licensed, will that meeting still be limited to 40 minutes? Or do I need to schedule a new meeting?
Hello,
I host live events using Zoom Meetings and we are incurring issues throughout the live events that registrants and even event speakers can't access the Zoom event via the link they received from Zoom after they registered. The receive a message along the lines of 'You need to register for this event' in which case they are registering again on the spot. I can see their registration emails coming through but when I go to the Meeting in Zoom, there are no new registrations and I have to approve them all.
I am also finding Meetings that don't require registration is also an issue for my internal team to join.
Any ideas, help, suggestions gratefully rec'd!
Thanks.

The new Interface for the iPad version of Zoom is terrible and was an unnecessary change. The controls for recording a meeting before were very accessible and understandable. The new interface for some idiotic reason moved the controls to the bottom with a menu twice the size and is no longer intuitive. Plus, you have to set a switch to keep them on screen. Not knowing this when I was starting my recording everything kept disappearing and I had to swipe the screen to get them back. Before I could find the pause control the menu was gone again. I thought they may have put it at stop video, but that killed what I thought I was recording. One should not need to re-learn how to use a program just because the company was fixing bugs. This new version is horrible and I will start looking for a new platform that makes recording easy again.

Hey everyone. I want to go live on YouTube. I went through the steps in the tutorial and selected YouTube in the meeting(Advanced) settings. My YouTube account is verified. When I try to go live, and after selecting my YT channel and clicking the red Go Live! button, I see a 'The user is not enabled for live' error. Have I missed a step, or is there an issue with the App? Thanks in advance for your help

I use zoom for online tutoring. This afternoon I am tutoring a student who uses an ipad. I would like her to be able to annotate when I share my screen. I have enabled annotation in my account. I think I'm ok talking her through how to use annotate on her ipad - I've watched vids on youtube and it looks like the pencil icon should appear bottom left on her screen. My first question is is this right? And my second my question is, does she need to update to latest version of zoom before we start? And how would she do this? I know nothing about ipads. Thanks.

on the middle of video recording appeared lines on the screen, how can i clean them
Rev's subscription service has a neat integration that allows unlimited Zoom transcripts provided that you do cloud recording of your Zoom Meeting. Unfortunately I can't get it to work! Rev requires that you have your Zoom settings set to Done, done and done. And Rev support confirmed the two accounts are linked. Yet today I created a Cloud Recording of a meeting and Rev never recognized it. I had to manually download and then upload to Rev, which counts against my monthly quota of uploaded audio recordings. Anyone else hit this speed bump? Thanks.

I know there is a shortcut to toggle mute (default alt+a), and a setting to temp unmute by holding spacebar. What I didn't know, and found out the uncool way, is the if you toggle the mute button (or the video button) by clicking on it, then from then on, whenever you press spacebar, Enter or Return, it toggles that button! Guess what? Now you're unmuted when you had no idea. I was just in a company wide meeting. I checked that I was, in fact, muted. I checked repeatedly during the meeting. Then, my girlfriend asks me a question, we chat briefly, then I start hearing everyone on the meeting calling my name, because we are interrupting the company meeting! Not tragic, but embarrassing. This is not the first time this has happened.
This behavior appears to be inadvertent, as I cannot find it in the documentation anywhere. Please correct this, or at least make a setting to turn this behavior off.
