I have been using Zoom very successfully for online teaching for the past 2 years and am a great fan. I am starting to teach a new course tomorrow. When i did a trial run today, I found that something had changed: When I started screen-sharing from a second camera (a document camera I use to do math on), the participants' videos suddenly disappeared and did not return after I stopped screen-sharing. All my settings and hardware are exactly the same as for the courses i taught before. Can anyone please advise me how to get my participants' videos back? I had no problem with this before, and have not done anything differently.  Any help will be much appreciated, thank you.

Zoom is not letting my 7 friends see me or hear me for the monthly meeting.

I have been trying to get into Zoom for the past week several times. My meeting is this coming Thursday at 5:00.

Automatic Live transcription not working this morning

 We have our accounts setup to use the built in live transcription but it's not working, The settings are turned on, but click on the enable auto transcribe button and nothing happens. I am able to still manually input closed captions.

Users are getting asked for a code while using an embedded password link

I have a few clients that are getting asked to enter a code when we've provided an embedded password link - has anyone had this issue - and what was the issue/solution?

How to cancel an account

We do not have access to the the email or phone number for our Zoom meeting. The person who originally set it up passed away.  How can we close/cancel the old meeting. Thanks!

Hi there, I've been searching Google for an answer to my question but can't seem to find anything about it. My problem is that when I'm in a Zoom Meeting, sometimes I get outside phone calls on my Samsung Galaxy S23+ or FaceTime request calls and after declining the call, the Zoom volume drops to a much lower level. Even when I have my phone's volume turned all the way up, it still is a lot lower than before and I can't seem to find a solution without having to leave the meeting and then rejoin. Sometimes I have to then break my Bluetooth earbuds out just so I can sort of hear better without needing to leave the meeting, and all my meetings are mostly group therapy sessions so I don't like to bother the host if they have to add me back in manually during the session. Is there any possible way to fix this?

My daughter is in a zoom class. Before I set up a free account, it would automatically default to the teacher and if she would share her screen it would transition to that and then back to her when she wasn’t sharing. Simultaneously, all the participants were in smaller boxes at the bottom. However, since I created the free account, I can’t, for the life of me, figure out how to get that back. I’ve tried doing gallery with speaker view but that doesn’t work. And the floating option.

I want to know how I can copy an entire transcript of a video into a word doc without doing it line by line

White screen when viewing shared screen

When in a Zoom meeting, I only see a white screen when another attendee is sharing their screen.  I have uninstalled, reinstalled, checked for updates.

I have been using Zoom to hold daily lessons, and I use Blackmagic Atem Extreme ISO and Rode podcaster pro through. The Atem is viewed as an active camera, and I have had almost no issues for the past two years, regardless of updates. This time is different. Nothing on the hardware side has changed other than zoom was updated. Since then, when live lessons are done, sound effects from the podcaster are not clear and mostly not heard from the client side. When music is played, only the spoken voice is heard, and almost none of the music can be heard, which is freaky, to say the least. I understand that there have been several audio changes, including options for musicians, but no amount of tweaking has fixed the issue to the point where we are now considering having to change the delivery software. Our classes rely heavily on zoom, so I would like to fix this issue ASAP. 

 Here is a video showing the issues that are plaguing us. Both with the live zoom feed and its audio with the issues alongside the ISO recorded elements showing what it should be and what our teachers are hearing.

I have updated all drivers since the issue surfaced; just in case, I have uninstalled everything at least once, including all hardware and software used. But like I said, there are no issues other than zoom.  It sometimes works for like 2 minutes, then will have issues come up again and again.

 When not running through zoom, there are no issues at all, all the data is clear and perfectly usable.

 

 I have tried to downgrade to a previous version of Zoom but cannot find a way to do so through this site. We have been having these issues for about a week or so, and the quality of delivery is bad and a disservice to our clients who rely on this service. 

 If anyone else has the same issue, please let me know if there is a fix you have found; so far, I have found no solutions for this problem. This is getting hard to live with.
