I have an important zoom recording that I recorded to my mac. It didn't convert properly, and I tried to convert it with any app that would work... I forgot it was a video (I meant to just record audio), and opened it in the music app to see if that would work. Of course it didn't, and now it say it's a "music document" and opens my music app when I try to open it, but doesn't play anything.

I tried using converico online but it didn't recognize the input file. I went back to zoom, but since I put it on my computer, it tries to open it from my desktop, and it opens the music app (but nothing appears).

Did I just completely blow any chance of listening/viewing it? Is there any way of converting it to something I can use? The extension still says .zoom

Hello I am using zoom to give an english class to one student. We are both using free plan so we should stick to the 40 minutes time limit. And I was wondering when does the 40 minutes time limit actually starts? Is it based on the time when the host starts the meeting or when the participants actually enters the meeting that is already opened by the host?

I tend to start the meeting like 4-5 minutes prior before the student enters. So I am concerned I might be wasting the time limit by starting off early.

Vet people in the waiting room

I'd like to be able to communicate (Via a form) to those people in the waiting room that we do NOT recognize.
I'd like to ask for their e-mail - who invited them etc

This is for the Zoom 5.13.11 app on Windows 10 Enterprise, when using the "Schedule Meeting" feature.

I need to add a long list of invitee emails. Through trial and error I was able to figure out I could only enter 1 bare email address at a time, then hit space to convert it into an object, limited to no more than 64 characters per email address. There is no pop-up suggestion to guide the user on adding even the first email address, and I did not find any guidance in the docs nor here (so far).

The field does not accept email standard list entries like "User Name <email address>", nor does it accept a comma-separated recipient list that might be copied from the recipients of an email application, which would seem like a sensible option.

The one workaround I found was that I could paste a list of semi-colon-separated email addresses so long as no single pasted block exceeded 64 characters. Thankfully in vim I can quickly convert commas to semi-colons and break up the list into lines shorter than 64 characters total. I'm lucky to know how to do this, and patient enough to figure out what should be documented.

How do I suggest a feature for this field that would support pasting a standard list of email addresses copied from, say, Gmail or Outlook? The parsing should be easy enough to do with either commas or semi-colons, and would make inviting a longer list of users less tedious. Almost any SDK offers code for handling such input.

Yes, I know the workaround is to simply add the meeting info to a calendar invite, but you have added this field to your "Schedule Meeting" feature, and you want to continue to position Zoom as an enterprise-ready product, so this field needs to step up to that aspiration.

Further, you need at least a floating pop-up to suggest how to add email addresses, plus add the info to your "Schedule Meeting" docs and videos, add a ? icon to the Schedule Meeting page, and maybe join the rest of the desktop-app world and enable capturing the F1 key to open help (or whatever equivalent is default in MacOS).

Please consider these suggestions. Thank you.

Hi I am using zoom to give an english class to one student. Both of us are using free plan so we have 40 minutes time limit. So I was wondering when does the 40 minutes time limit start? I usually open the zoom meeting like 5 minutes prior before the student enters the meeting. Does the time limit start based on when I opened the meeting or when the participant enters the meeting?

I am really curious about it but it's so hard to find exact detailed explanation on this issue.

Thank you

During meetings, an emoji periodically floats through my Zoom screen. My client can see it too and neither of us know what triggered it. It has happened with more than one client. There have been thumbs up and hearts. I use Zoom for healthcare which is supposed to be HIPAA compliant and this makes me nervous. Any insights as to what this is / how to turn it off?

Thank you!
