I am a guitar teacher using Zoom. What is the best 'settings' for the audio? I have everyone using Low for the background suppression but int this past week its not working well. Any suggestions? I would actually like the filter to be completely removed as I need to hear everything the student plays.

While assisting as a DJ during a virtual Zoom conference today, I discovered a bug. I'm using the desktop version of Zoom on Mac. This happened to me with version 5.7.3 and it still happens after updating to version 5.7.6 (1320). 

Steps to reproduce:

1. Share screen > Advanced > Computer Audio and click the Share button.

2. Notice that the button to stop sharing audio appears at the top of the Zoom window, as expected.

3. Ensure that you are muted by clicking the Mute button, if you aren't already muted.

4. Have another host in the meeting request that you unmute.

5. When the pop-up appears asking you to unmute, decline by clicking the "Stay Muted" option.

6. Notice that the button to stop sharing audio disappears from the top of the Zoom window, unexpectedly. This gives the impression that I'm not sharing audio anymore, when in fact I still am.

7. Play some music or a video on your computer and have another person in the meeting verify that indeed you are still sharing audio. Stop playing.

8. Click the unmute button to unmute yourself.

9. Notice that the button to stop sharing audio reappears at the top of the screen again.

10. Now click stop sharing to stop sharing audio.

This bug caused a disruption in our virtual conference when I thought I had stopped sharing audio and started playing some music to choose what I was going to use for the next break. Everyone in the call could hear it. Oops!

Since I figured out the steps to reproduce it I'm reporting the bug so that it can be fixed. I hope this messages makes it to the Zoom team!

We have 4 separate Enterprise Zoom Accounts that have been integrated with our LMS.  Starting last week (8/17), we noticed that as the first, second or third hosts/co-hosts appear in the meeting, some appear with the integrated Zoom account name and not their own names.   Has anyone else ever experienced this and found a way to resolve - stop it from happening?

Before the Pandemic hit, I attended a weekly Program for people with Memory issues and Alzheimers.  But when the Pandemic hit, they had to shut it down and a couple of months later started having ZOOM meetings.   Now considering that over a week at the center, they about 140 people enter, about the highest count we had in any meeting was 5 people and I had one meeting where it was me and the Host.  Now I think that is because a lot of folks think Older folks should not be let anywhere near a computer, and I say so you can set them down in front of it, you the caretaker fire up the Zoom Meeting and either stay to help or walk away.

The girls who were moderators learned over time how to do good zoom meetings.  They shared their computer screens, we played bingo (there are a few online bingo callers), and played many games and themes for meetings, like late last spring, they had a day where it was show your Garden, so I had to take a laptop and my camera, hook my camera to the laptop and part through the meeting, show the folks my garden.

Then this September they ended the meetings trying to figure out to get attendance up.

I did love those ZOOM meetings, I do Thank the team at zoom for making such a wonderful platform.

Interested if anybody else would like to be able to adjust Breakout rooms on the fly. There are times when rooms are in session and I would like to be able to adjust settings. Say maybe you added a timer by accident and want to cancel it or you want to enable the option for participants to choose a room even though this was not initially set. Being also to assign a co-host in a breakout room would also be great.

I have a multiple day audit with different group meetings about every hour.  I'm trying to figure out how best to schedule things.  At first I thought about schedule 3 day long Zoom sessions.  My concern is that I have to host the meeting - admit people  -  leave the meeting - and then return to do the same for the next session.  Should I schedule individual sessions so I can start, leave, and then return? I want the same link for all meetings though.  Thank you!
