When I first installed ZOOM, switching Background is never an issue. Recently, I am unable to switch background, as my image becomes transparent with partial image that appears on and off.

I deleted the ZOOM Application and reinstalled it, the effect when I change background is similar. To make matter worst, I am unable to add background to the background storage area. I am unable to switch background for pdf files but able to do so for but able to add jpg and jpeg picture files. (I have not tried with other file formats).

Please let me know what could have gone wrong. I have search online for resolution, but unable to find any solution.

Thank you community and Zoom Support Team.

Regards,

Gordon

We are two coauthors using the free zoom and want to connect to our meeting, as two participants, each using a desktop computer and an iPad.

This is such an incredibly hard thing to do - to consistently use only one id forever and not have to worry about using a different ID if I just start a meeting right away, using a different ID when I schedule a meeting, etc.

Why doesn't it only use your PMI if that's the option you have turned on?  There has to be some setting someplace (not in the app because the Preferences window is completely useless)?  What am I missing because right now I'm soooo close to cancelling and just finding an alternate service.

Since a few weeks ago, sometimes during a meeting my display becomes black, I can't write, use the cursor or see anything but I still can keep talking with the other person and I believe he can still see me. The only solution is turn my computer off and on again and start a new meeting. At the beginning I thought the problem was in my computer but I normally use differents platforms as Zoom, Skype and others and I only have trouble with Zoom.

I create recurring ZOOM Meetings for Chairs of Committees. I assign the Chairs as alternate hosts in my meeting set up. Before yesterday, the alternate hosts would automatically be made the "host" of the meeting when they logged into it - I don't log into these meetings though I am the creator.

Yesterday, two of our Chairs logged into their ZOOM meetings, but were not automatically designated as "host" and therefore not able to share screen or assign other co-hosts who could share their screen. Are we doing something wrong? This worked for the whole past academic year.

I have a question about how Zoom handles signed-in accounts on browser vs desktop app:

I'm signed in to Zoom account A on my internet browser (zoom.us). I'm signed in to Zoom account B on my Windows Zoom desktop app. When I click a meeting URL link in my email or browser, it opens the link in Zoom desktop app and appears to switch my desktop app to account A (from account B). This is counterintuitive to me. Is this is the expected behavior?

Thanks,

Aaron

sound on traslation

When I'm following the meeting in the non-translated language, the audio loses volume. It should be a clone of the original but it loses volume.

First time poster and I am REALLY hoping someone has a solve for this. I am having an issue with Zoom Meetings that has lasted for at least the past six months, and I haven't been able to figure it out.

Essentially what's happening is if I schedule back to back meetings (Meeting A and B) and Meeting A runs over, Zoom is allowing the participants from Meeting B to join Meeting A while it's still in progress. This is very confusing to me because they are scheduled as separate meetings - and it's very confusing to participants as well.

I think I need to adjust something in my settings but I'm not sure what. I was actually looking at my meetings and I noticed that the Meeting ID and Meeting Password is the same for every meeting I schedule. Could this be the cause? If so, how can I generate unique Meeting IDs and/or passwords?

Thank you so much in advance for your help!
