Hi!

 

I had to find out that zoom does not support virtual backgrounds on linux for my CPU (i5-5200U).

After some googling I found the requirements page here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360043484511-System-requirements-for-Virtual-Background which says that on Linux I would need an i7 with 4 cores or more.

I am currently looking to upgrade my laptop to another Laptop with an i7 7600U which only has 2 cores, but 4 threads.

 

Can anybody report if the virtual background feature worked for them on a similar CPU?

Incorrect banning of a licensed account

…I run a licensed account which you have blocked incorrectly. If you look at my account activity, you will see I have been reporting zoombombers to you. This necessitated joining meetings to track them, and subsequently getting caught in the crossfire. On top of this, you have disabled my iPad with a code 1132 error, which I should say looks like suspicious activity to me. I’m puzzled, and a little cynical, as to  why there is so little info on this error, and why you would want to go as fas as disabling a hardware device, especially when a back up account can be created easily on another device.

I have already written an appeal you three weeks ago, which you seem to have ignored. This is classed as a licensed account, so I expect some action from you on this.  On top of all of this, you keep automatically closing my tickets immediately after submitting them.

This account is used in post Covid community meetings, helping people who are still shielding through ill health, so some action on this would be very much appreciated.

What can I do to get my iPad back again under my control? And why is there so little info on this 1132 error code?

I’d really like to get this account active again but I’m currently feeling very unsupported regarding the issue.

Some months ago, I could use multiple sharing option when I click on the arrow beside the button "Share". There would be a line "allow multiple sharing...". But now, when I lick on it, just a window appears without this function - multiple sharing simultaneously. Could someone tell me why and how to fix it? Thanks.

I have 2 zoom accounts and am using same webhook notification url for both.

 

This webhook is for meetings issues event.

 

Now when there is issue in meeting like audio quality dropped in any account, notification comes to notification url.

My doubt is how do i differentiate after receiving this notification whether the problem was in account1 or account2.

Hello!

 

The  owner of our university departmental account was terminated due to serious egregious behavior and his email was deactivated as a result. No one has access to that email. I am an admin on the account and the account is paid through my assigned credit card. I need to have ownership changed to me.

 

Bolt does not work because it keeps giving me the directions to change ownership via the owner no matter how I rephrase my issue. Apparently we do not get telephone support with our plan, so I filled out a ticket as per the CSR who took my call.

 

Today my ticket was closed without resolution with this message:

Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to your open ticket at this time. If you are a part of a corporate account, and need advanced technical support beyond our Online Resources, please contact your Zoom account administrators.

 

I have no idea who my "account administrators" are other than myself.  Any suggestions on where to go from here?

I'm having a very odd experience with the latest version 5.9.3. When I'm hosting a meeting with multiple people on and in speaker view, I don't pop up on my own screen when I'm talking, but I do show up on others screens. Is this something new and is this something that can be fixed. I'd appreciate any direction, thank you.
