I run a hybrid weekly meeting.  Using a laptop, web camera, and TV screen I host 20-25 people each week via zoom and 50+ in the room.

When I screen share the computer and TV monitor show that all is working well.  Many presentations are via Power point and it runs fine in the room.

The challenge is those on Zoom cannot see the shared screen, or if they do the slides do not advance.

Hi Zoom community.  I'm Deaf and I teach ASL via Zoom.  When I share a screen with vocabulary documents and so forth, the participants disappear and I can't see them. I record the classes for the students to practice with and when I look at the recordings it only shows the shared item but not participants. Since my teaching and ASL itself is a totally visual language, I need to be able to see everyone signing and I can't and then when I THINK I've got it, like when I used a second Chromebook to share last week, it showed the shared screen and I could see the participants on the laptop I was using to teach with, the recording only showed the shared item and me but not the students. Can someone please help me with this right away - it's making teaching on Zoom impossible for a totally visual vernacular and process.  I tried re-sizing and everything with no luck.

Thanks so much,

RedJenn

We have deployed some clients via SCCM and some clients have directly installed Zoom from the website. We need to allow auto update of the app silently without any prompts to the users giving them the option to update or choose later.

We have deployed a Group Policy via https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360039100051-Group-Policy-Options-for-the-Windows-desktop-client-and-Zoom-Rooms and have enabled autoupdate and silentautoupdate. We are still noticing users being prompted with a window asking them if they want to update or do it later.

Is there a way we can ensure that we do not require any user intervention and the app can update automatically?

We use windows 10 1809 and 20H2 Enterprise

Hi community,

When I share the screen as host and want to show a document to the participants (I have a number of open documents ready on the screen), I do not see the same document as the participants. They see the document I want to show them, I see another one.
What can be the reason for this!
Thank you for a tip!

One of our users set registration for the recurring meetings to allow participants to register once and attend whenever they want. If they edit the recurring meeting, will the people who registered before the change still show as registered for every single meeting?

Hi ya'll.  I'm new to Pro and I recently started a book study group that will have 20-30 members.  I set this up and announced it prior to subscribing to Pro.  So the Zoom ID is random.  Will my group be timed out (as it was at 45 minutes previously) since I will be using the random number or will Zoom automatically know I have Pro and not time me out?  I apologize for not writing this out more clearly - it's kind of disjointed!  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Hi everybody !

I feel shocked and sad. I am a person, who needs a little bit longer to feel secure in things. So I decided to book some Zoom Live Trainings. All went well.

But since some days, I don`t get reminders in my e-mail account and the link in the confirmation mail fails/ doesn`t work, though it was for an upcoming sheduld webinar, hosted and sended by Zoom.😭😭 It pushes me back to the side where to book the training, though I did before. Also copying the link in my browser doesn´t work. I got shown: Link is unknown. 😲

( It´s about the Zoom Live Training that`s called: "How to teach online with Zoom" )

Time Zone is right and checked, browser worked in the past ( some days before ), I booked it and got a confirmation, that I am allowed to take part in it. Zoom client is updated.

Anybody an idea, what might be the reason and what to do to solve the problem ?

Every usefull answer is appreciated !

Thanks in advance and greetings to all Zoom lovers.

The Inquisitive

When I give my clients my meeting ID and Password to jump on a meeting, they get an error message “Meeting Already In Progress.” I then have to acquire their email and send invite directly from the meeting. It never used to be this way. There are no other meetings in progress, just the one I’m hosting and wanting my guests on. Any ideas?

Screen Share Dual Display Showing Zoom Alerts on top of shared screen

Using MacBook with Dual monitors. When sharing my screen zoom alerts such as a person entered waiting room or a raised hand show on the extended display. Can I keep those alerts on my desktop screen instead of secondary display?
