Zoom Bug

I installed to latest version, (for laptop) with the Apr. 29th update.

During the meeting, I went to answer back a "chat", and at the same time, it was showing "Raise Hand".

I feel this is a bug.

Hi, community,

between Zoom Bridge and ZoomISO, which is your preference of choice, and kindly share your reasons why.

So far, I only used Zoom Bridge and I kinda like it for the fact that the software can be installed on both Windows and Apple OS. ZoomISO only has an Apple OS version.

Cons of Zoom Bridge could be that the max it can output is 720p30fps.

However, the good thing about ZoomISO is that it can go up to 1080p30fps.

For ZoomISO I think also has the ability to integrate OSC for automation on Streamdeck/Companion. Which is a plus for ZoomISO.

---

This leads me to the next question:

Have anyone used the above software on multiple PCs to encode more than 10x and more pinned zoom callers' NDI streams into the network?

Have you also tried pushing so many streams, that it goes beyond 1gbps bandwidth usage on the network, resulting in you having to use a 2.5gbps/10gbps network switch?

If so, have you tried to also ingest and use all these streams at the same time into a powerful media server (with a 10gbe NIC card) for processing and outputting them as baseband HDMI video signals?

How were your experience and the result? Or did it end up as a failure and you decided to just go back to the traditional route of using 1x HDMI output per laptop for each pinned callers.

And finally to have all the laptops HDMI outputs to be captured by a hardware video switcher instead.

Thank you for your time!

Unauthorised screen sharing

We had a participant on a meeting share what looked like it may have been a whiteboard.

Screen sharing was only enabled for cohosts and the hosts had not opened any whiteboards.

Does anyone have experience of bombers being able to do this?

Recording Zoom meeting and needing a sign language interpreter to be seen

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to have a sign language interpreters Zoom window appear in the recording of a Zoom meeting?

I work in the community services sector with people who are living with disabilities including hearing/auditory function loss. To ensure accessibility and equality for all we must have a sign language (AUSLAN here is Australia) interpreter present and the same accessibility and equality message goes for recording our meetings/presentations on zoom as well.

Currently when you record the Zoom meetings, only the main/active window is recorded and users switch out as they speak which means that if you attend the meeting then you can consistently see the sign language interpreter in the side panel at all times, but the recording doesn't pick them up.

Ay work arounds would be greatly appreciated.

Voting Features

Is there any other feature that provides voting capability within Zoom that can be used for voting? Does the feature allow participants connected by phone to vote?

Can anyone help? I haven't been able to login to zoom or join a meeting since I've installed the 11.6 iMac upgrade. I get 3 different messages. If I try to sign in thru my google account I get an error 5003 code. If I try to log in using my iCloud email, I get a message that says "You are unable to connect to Zoom. Please check your network connection and try again." If I try to join a meeting I get a different message that says "Check to make sure you're connected to a stable network that is not blocked by a firewall or proxy." I can use Zoom thru the web browser as well as log in, just not on the computer app. There is definitely a connectivity problem, when I go to check for updates through the zoom app it says "Check version failed".

A list of things I've tried thus far with out success.

1. Turning off the firewall as well as my antivirus ware then trying zoom.

2. Deleting Zoom, rebooting, downloading latest Zoom (5.8), rebooting, then trying to use Zoom.

3. Making sure Zoom is allowed thru my antivirus ware.

4. Verifying Mic and Cam is allowed thru security settings.

5. Reaching out to Apple Help.

6. Writing an email to Zoom. (I haven't received a reply yet)

I can't find anything on line about this problem. If anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it!
