Hi, Y'all -

I continue to struggle with epilepsy, and unfortunately, during a video session last week, I had a grand-mal seizure over zoom. As you can see in the screenshot attached (me in the red frame), my seizure created a lot of tension. Therefore, I am contacting you in the Zoom Community to see if there are any suggestions of what my professor (The Host) could have done differently.

During my event, unfortunately, I had my microphone on mute. I had a virtual background that was not clear and headphones in my ears. So when the first responders arrived, my class struggled to communicate and understand what was happening.

What does Zoom currently have in place to help in emergencies like these? I know The Host can auto turn off and ASK a user to turn on their audio/video. Are there options the Host has when the user is unconscious and unresponsive?

1. turn the user mic on?

2. turn the virtual background off?

3. turn the speaker on for communication with the first responder?

4. leave a prominent note on a computer screen for the first responder?

Your feedback, insights, and other ideas would be greatly appreciated as I continue to use Zoom as a primary source of video conferencing for school.

Cheers

-Hunter

How do I disable passcode for previously scheduled meetings?

We had an employee who had their own individual zoom license. We migrated her over to our primary business account. She is now a user of this account, and I am the admin.

This employee had several meetings scheduled (prior to migration) that did not require a passcode. They required a waiting room instead. Since the migration, when any of the previously-scheduled meetings try to join using their link, they are prompted for a password which the employee now has to go look up and provide.  Since the migration, all invite links now come with the passcode embedded in the link so they are not a problem. It's only the previously scheduled conferences.

How do I disable the passcode requirement to this employee's (and possibly all of our employees') previously scheduled meetings? I am the admin account but cannot find where to change the setting. Under Admin Account > Admin > Users > Employee > Settings > Meeting > Security, I do see an option for Meeting Passcode > Require a passcode for meetings which have already been scheduled, however this setting is "Locked by Admin" and I cannot change it even though I am the admin.

Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

When updating to the latest version available, the camera stopped SHOWING an image and the microphone does not detect audio.
I did a downgrade version of Zoom and it worked again.
With the new version, the camera led lights up but there is no image. In addition, the camera works correctly with other applications. Something similar happens with the microphone.
The camera and audio drivers are up to date and in Win security, zoom is allowed to access the camera and microphone.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom app with no positive results. I rebooted the notebooks on every install.
The same thing happens in another notebook of another brand. Both with Win10 with all patches updated.
