I need to use my Hdmi camcorder as my webcam, to connect it via a USB3 capture card for a Zoom event. The video comes in just fine (I can select the video as USB Digital Video) but there is nothing to select as a mic for audio and I need to use the audio from the camcorder itself.

Does anyone know how to do this? I need some help please.

After disconnection as Host (through Host Key), random participant is getting Host

If I get disconnected while as Host (internet connection lost), when I reconnect to the Zoom meeting, a random participant has been named as Host. I have claimed the Host role through Host Key shared by the Owner of our group account. I am listed as ... Show more

If I get disconnected while as Host (internet connection lost), when I reconnect to the Zoom meeting, a random participant has been named as Host.  I have claimed the Host role through Host Key shared by the Owner of our group account. I am listed as an Admin on our group's account, with another person as the actual Owner of the account. During our Zoom meetings, this Owner person joins and gives talks (and is therefore too busy to do Hosting duties like muting people/keeping an eye on things which is why I do the Host duties). So I join the call as an Attendee, then "claim host" with the Host key. However if my Zoom session restarts after a connection loss, a random participant becoming Host is a huge problem because the vast majority of our users are only able to Join the call and that's about it. They are not tech-aware enough to "pass the Host Role" back to me. 

 

Please let me know how I can automatically get Host back (after connection loss)  if I have claimed Host by Host Key?  I also do not necessarily want to designate the Owner as co-host during the meeting, as he is usually giving a talk and I don't want interrupt him "in front of everyone" to have him pass me Host role back.

Dear all, I am hoping that someone can help please, Our Zoom Events CSV Session (speaker) file is not uploading as per the information on this page:

It IS in the right format and it appears to upload exactly like the Test CSV, but nothing happens. 

 

And before you think 'left it a bit late' we are all hit by Covid and I have been trying for the last 24 hours. 

 

Our conference with over 150 academic papers starts tomorrow.  I might have to put them all in by hand at this rate.

I have been trying to figure out how to enable language interpretation on my account for about an hour and a half I've been watching videos that give instructions and have followed the instructions only to find that the language interpretation is not an option in my account... then trying to figure out what account I need to upgrade to, and can't seem to figure it out and have come to the conclusion that it should be an option on my account... I saw something about contacting support if you don't see this option on your account, contact support to enable it, so I contacted them going around in circles on phone calls to support only to be told that my account doesn't allow calls (I have a pro account)... anyone have any idea what to do?

Disconnecting Zoom at a preset time.

Hi,

I'm actually using Zoom to teach English.

45minutes is one session, though students keep asking questions, and can't end at a preset time (45minutes).

Is there any function that disconnects at a preset time in this case 45 minutes?

My recording has been stuck for 6 hours

Use templates when scheduling for someone else

Until lately I could use my own templates when scheduling for another user in our business account. This has suddenly changed. Can you turn that function back on please? It is costing me so much extra time!

Zoom Meetings "Calling" User

For one of our users, intermittently meetings will "call" her phone and desktop app. The phone will ring but nothing shows in call history, and the desktop app will show as well. It always happens at the scheduled start time of the meeting and on the cell phone there's no "decline" option. It's almost as if it is a forced reminder. 

 

We DO NOT have the Call Me feature in our tenant. 

 

We do have Zoom Phone, but this is happening for Meetings specifically and randomly.
