For several years I have been dialing in to zoom with 1 plus area code and number. Recently, my attempts to connect did not work. I got no dial tone when I used the number 1 prior to the area code. So I tried without dialing the number 1 and it worked.  Why has this changed? Should the number 1 be removed from the dial in instructions for audio connection to our zoom meetings?

How do I get a log for meetings in which I was a participant?

Chat window reconfigured so names are not visible or clickable; also error 10004 when updating

I teach via Zoom, still, and today the appearance of chat was changed so that -- whether it was in popout mode or not -- the names of chat participants had slid to the left and could not be accessed, if someone directly messaged me.  I cannot teach effectively if I cannot chat to "Everyone", or see to whom I am directing a message.  When I told students I wanted to restart the Zoom, to see if that would help, upon restarting the meeting, it tried to update.  Not surprising.  Normally our district updates Zoom, but sometimes Zoom will update itself.  But the update stalled and gave me an error message (10004).  Does anyone know what I can do about this?  I put a help request into Zoom, but essentially they just gave me a set of links, including the one to this community.

Cannot surf the web when sharing screen in zoom

I have the strangest problem, but it is reproduceable.  

I am working on a PHP/HTML/CSS/Javascript system with a team of people.  We meet regularly on zoom.

When I am sharing my screen, I have no problem and can do everything I need to do on my local system (while others are watching) UNLESS I need to surf the web for any reason.  If I go to the web and enter a URL, it works at first -- but then my system will tell me there is no internet connection and I get a 404 file not found error.  Of course, there HAS to be an internet connection because I'm still on zoom.  Furthermore, any OTHER computer in my house that is surfing the web when I'm sharing on zoom has the SAME PROBLEM - it tells them there is no internet.  This does not happen when there is no sharing (though it doesn't matter if I'm sharing my screen or the other person is sharing their screen).   As soon as the sharing stops, the so called "internet" comes back.  

My desktop computer is a Dell with 64Gig of memory connected to the DSL router through an Ethernet cable. 

 

I recently updated my client to the most recent, and was told that this may solve the problem.  It did not.

 

Any ideas?

Buongiorno, da circa 3 mesi ho un problema con la telecamera esterna Logitech C270 HD.

il mio video è solo una schermata bianca, anche cambiando tutte le impostazioni non funziona, devo passare alla telecamera del computer portatile, che è di scarsa qualità, ma almeno funziona. Lo stesso problema me lo dà in Skype, mentre con GoogleMeet la telecamera esterna funziona perfettamente.

Ho già provato a disinstallare e reinstallare zoom, ma il risultato non cambia.

Cosa posso fare?

Admitting participants as host

I have Pro Plan. When scheduling a meeting, I check the "Participants may join any time" box. But participants still have to ask to be admitted to the meeting. How can I set the meeting up so participants can join the scheduled meeting before I do? Show more

I can't sign in to my account

I recently made a new email but i log in to zoom using my old one. When i tried signing in, it would not let me and would send codes to my old email which i do not have access of anymore. All my contacts are on that account and i did make a new one b... Show more

I recently made a new email but i log in to zoom using my old one. When i tried signing in, it would not let me and would send codes to my old email which i do not have access of anymore. All my contacts are on that account and i did make a new one but i was hoping there was a way of resetting that old account and adding my new email instead of the old one. Please think of a solution and contact me. Thank you.
