I'm fairly new to Zoom. Currently not using it on a regular basis, but I could see a need for that to change so I'd like to be able to get this dialed in.

 

Just had a frustrating experience where neither of the two people in a conversation could hear each other - even though it worked for a few seconds. Video only. I'd like to be able to make sure everything is configured correctly, but the User Interface is in Spanish, which I'm not fluent with, esp. with technological terminology.

 

In the top right corner "English" (in blue) is selected from the drop-down, but the UI, settings, and menu options are all in Spanish. I'm currently in a Spanish speaking country and using someone's laptop, so I'm guessing that's why.

 

Is changing the UI, settings, etc. something I can do within Zoom, or is it something I have to do through Windows 10 first? Also is there a good video tutorial for how to configure Zoom? I'm usually okay enough with figuring out what things say, but when I'm in the middle of trying to initiate a meeting and nothing is working the stress makes instant translation a bit more complicated, so if I can watch a video to see what needs to be done before hand things would be clearer for me.

Why Zoom is lag? My Zoom Meeting have join 800 participants and 500 participants open camera . I don't know if the problem is computer, internet or Zoom

Zoom Meeting Unknown Participants Joined without accepting

I host daily zoom sessions with multiple participants and everything's been fine. In the last few days many of my participants are reporting that after joining the room and being connected to audio they suddenly loose their audio. They have to then disconnect their audio and rejoin back but after a while the audio again gets cut off. Anyone facing this issue?

Screen Sharing For Main Room and Breakout Rooms

We are piloting a co-teaching program in the second semester. We will have multiple teachers in one Zoom meeting with over 100+ students. Our administrators are wanting us to have them move in and out of breakout rooms like they would move around in stations in a brick-and-mortar setting. So, my question is.....If there are three break-out rooms...The main room has the host, breakout room 1 has a cohost, and breakout room 2 has the other cohost.....are we able to screen share differently in each one?

Example: The main room has the host screen sharing a lesson on reading strategies, breakout room 1 has a cohost screen sharing a grammar lesson, and breakout room 2 has the other cohost screen sharing a writing prompt/spelling skills.

Is this possible on a licensed account? If so, please share a link, video, or guide on how to implement this.

Everytime I try to log into Zoom it starts to update and freezes about 1/10th of the way.  It then does not allow me to use the App at all on my laptop.  Any solution?  Thank you!

We are filming an interview using ASL interpreters who will voice for the Deaf participants in Zoom meetings. In the past, there have been issues with cloud recording multi-spotlights. Not all spotlights will show on the recorded copy, only the person speaking will show. 

 

Has this issue been resolved? What do we need to do to make sure that all spotlights are recorded?

 

Does webinar do a better job of this than a zoom meeting?

 

Please advise quickly since we need to have this answer asap.
