On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Hi, 

 

I want to set up a number that is used for the same monthly meeting throughout the year. I don't want to have 12 different occurrences showing up on my dashboard. I want one ZOOM ID that is the same each time. 

 

I will put this info on a company calendar invite as reoccurring to the team and I don't want to have to go back to Zoom and pull a new id for each call. 

 

How do I do that?

zoom crash then cannot reenter the meeting

I have been successfully hosting zoom meetings on a paid account for the past 3 years.  Suddenly I am having an issue with zoom crashing in the middle of the meeting, then not allowing me to re-enter the meeting because I am "in a meeting"  This only happens on my microsoft surface.  I can reenter the meeting on my phone or ipad.  I host a lot of meetings for my church and volunteer work.  HELP!  I have submitted a ticked to zoom but they have not answered me.

Meeting disappeared

I had a scheduled meeting on August 29th, 2022 but now I am not seeing that meeting in the previous list. I am able to see meetings from as far back as Jan 2022. Checking my emails I can see that the meeting was scheduled, I can also see that someone had joined meeting but the meeting is nowhere to be found. I am not in the habbit of deleting meetings and there is no email saying the meeting was deleted.

 

How is this possible ? Is this some sort of glitch ? I am just puzzled this particular meeting is missing when others months before it are still there.

Hallo zusammen,

 

wir haben für unser Projekt Wohnungslosentreffen einen Zoom Pro-Account gebucht,

der im Juni 2022 mit Folgerechnung belastet wurde - leider vom "falschen" Konto.

 

Wir haben es mittlerweile geschafft, die Zahlungsmodalitäten auf ein anderes Konto

zu ändern (das erfolgte Anfang September, inklusive Rückerstattung auf das alte Konto).

 

Jetzt haben wir aber bemerkt, dass wir über die Änderung der Zahlungsquelle offenbar

unseren Pro-Account "verloren" haben, der laut korrigierter Zoom-Rechnung eigentlich

bis Ende Juni 2023 bezahlt worden ist.

 

Momentan sind wir also wieder auf 40 Minuten Session-Zeit beschränkt.

Das ist natürlich "etwas unbefriedigend". 😉

 

Daher also meine Frage:

Wie kann man überhaupt einen bezahlten Pro-Account "verlieren"?

 

(... ein Ticket wurde gestern eingereicht, bisher hat Zoom darauf aber

 nicht aktiv reagiert, außer einer Eingangsbestätigung)

Zoom black screen flicker glitch freezing my Display's resolution

Hello,

in my last Zoom Meeting I used the Share Screen function. This resulted in a screen flickering to black every 2 seconds. Then it reduced my screen resolution (at least visibly).
I ended the screen sharing, updated my GPU drivers, restarted several times. Even outside of Zoom the resolution remained visibly below HD , in my display settings the resolution claims to be HD, yet it is greyed out and locked at this setting. Additionally my second screen isn't responding at all (the system doesn't recognize it anymore).

 

Further information: The second screen was not plugged in when the black-flickering occured.

I need help with this issue.

I've set up a recurring meeting that people in our company can join for questions. In order for me to know when someone has entered the waiting room, I've enabled email notifications. However, I only SOMETIMES receive the notifications (after about 1 minute):

 

- from some users I always receive notifications when joining a meeting directly; not always if they are waiting in the waiting room.

- from some users I don't receive any notifications.

 

I've tried several browsers, with the app, in the webclient, privat sessions, etc. but I can't find out why it works for some users and doesn't for others.

 

Has anyone had this issue as well? Is there a fix?

I have a free account but have used the Zoom client to access meetings others have set up. Now when I try to do that it says my app needs upgrading and contact my IT team. I don't have an IT Team as I am an individual, I tried contacting Zoom support... Show more

I have a free account but have used the Zoom client to access meetings others have set up.  Now when I try to do that it says my app needs upgrading and contact my IT team.  I don't have an IT Team as I am an individual, I tried contacting Zoom support but they don't recognise my ID.  Any ideas>>
