When I try to join a meeting it says that I need to update zoom.  How is that done?

Basic plan - choose a new host prior to the start of the meeting

Question - I have a basic plan and I am wondering if I can change the host to another user prior to the start of the meeting?  That person would also be on a basic plan.

finding a recording

I was on a zoom meeting using my chromebook. i recorded it, but have no idea where the recording is located. i googled how to and it read to go to my documents section of my laptop. i dont have a documents section and what i could find, it is not there. I also read to log into zoom, go to recordings, hit local recordings then hit open. when i hit local recordings i receive this message:

 

Local recordings are listed only for meetings that were recorded while using a supported version of the client. Verify that your client has been upgraded to a supported version before you start the meeting. The supported versions are:

  • Windows: Version 4.0.25513.0228 or later
  • Mac: Version 4.0.25513.0228 or later

Does this mean there is no recording? what else can i try?

We have a room with a television and a projector.

We've had this setting before, but for some reason we're unable to do it again.

Here, we want to have the participants in mosaic on the television and the participants in speaker view on the projector so that we can see them when they speak.

 

Can someone explain to me how to do this, my IT department doesn't seem to know.

Pro Account but Zoom Help says I don't have Support

Question 1 - Suddenly, my Pro Zoom Account does not get Chat Support. I do not understand why this is the case since I've always been able to use Chat Support. If anyone could please advise, I would appreciate it. 

Question 2 

*** I am trying to contact Zoom to ask whether or not Enabling Original Sound for Musicians can be toggled ON for all meetings? I don't want to have to "remember" to toggle it on and risk losing the sound that I use to get before this new option came into being. If anyone can help with this second issue, I'd appreciate it.

microphone works for 1 second before cutting off

hi all using my new laptop a hp windows 11 running an AMD processor.  the microphone is not working, when you choose to switch microphone and test the microphone it will work for 1 second before cutting out. 

it seems to be a zoom specific problem. it also seems to be AMD specific as I have done some troubleshooting myself online.

I have uninstalled zoom and downloaded the latest version, restarted the computer but nothing seems to work. this problem arose after plugging in headphones to the computer and it was working fine before that. I don't think this is the cause of the problem as it is zoom specific but i said it was best to add all information.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

just upgraded to Pro, but a little problem for my small organization. Only one of us can schedule a Call, for example Mr. A (admin), so if Mr. B needs to organize a Call he have to use the Mr. A account to organize. But when they are both connected sometimes they get disconnected by the system. I know tha it's not a shame, just want to understand if there's a cheap solution for not buy a "Pro" plan for every member of the organization that wants to organize call longer more than 40 minutes.
