http://zoom.us/test doesn't help - unplug the internet while it's running
and it continues to display the camera, so it's not doing anything over
the internet at all, also it doesn't test the microphone.
When I did an actual Zoom session, video and audio broke up continually
then audio stopped altogether - it was a complete disaster.
The whole point of Zoom is that it's over the internet - a test that
doesn't go over the internet is not useful.
Signing into a view-only conference doesn't help much as it doesn't
detect problems with my camera, microphone, or uplink; also the available
bandwidth may be enough for one-way video but flake out for two-way.

Zoom should host an always-on dummy conference that just sends back what
it gets from your camera and microphone so you can verify everything is
working in both directions over the internet, as well as letting you
see how you look and sound to others. Where is that?
Is there any alternative website that does automatic two-way testing?

Zoom meetings

Hi,

I created a zoom meeting for several people to attend a meeting.  How can they accept without me getting a notification of their acceptance?  It is flooding my inbox.

Hi,

Recently we faced several cases which ZOOM client has prompted the window for Proxy Settings requested to key in "User Name" & "Password". As we are SSO for login and shouldn't be required key in any credentials.

Please advise how to solve this.

I have a user requesting to create a meeting in which each attendee would receive a unique password to join the meeting.  I am not familiar with this, nor do I see it as an option in the Zoom documentation.  Apparently, this is a requirement for specific regulations in the law field, though I am not sure of the specifics (i.e. court room meeting, mediation, client meeting, etc.).  Is anyone familiar with this request?

I am exhausted. Since when can we not even email Support for assistance?

I have no 'Admin' in my basic account and it's telling me that I'm now forced to use passcode every time I schedule a meeting. I can't change that setting because it's been 'Locked by Admin'.

How can an Admin lock it, if there is no Admin?

Please help, this is making working with individuals with limited digital literacy very difficult. How can I disable the mandatory passcode?

I'm a Student at University, my instructor set me as absent, based on a Zoom report, that shows attendance with their attendance time, he didn't find my name on that list, and claimed I was absent, although I attend that lecture actually. So we need a clear statement from Zoom support regarding this issue. It's possible under specific technical conditions that Zoom may not recognize me in that report for some unusual reason such as a technical bug in my updated application or connection, or something like that?

Hi,

I usually update to zoom clients on my centos7 like machines by downloading
wget https://www.zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_x86_64.rpm
This worked fine up to zoom-5.13.4.711-1
The new version now is 5.13.5.431 and fails, because it requires GLIBCXX_3.4.20 and 21 , which are not available for CentOS7.
Using the "official" download via
 https://zoom.us/download?os=linux
I still get
Version 5.13.4(711)  ,  which works fine.

Are there plans to have a special CentOS7 download on  https://www.zoom.us/client/latest/ ?

Thank you! Zoom is great!!
Andreas
