Hello zoom community, I hope all is well with all of you. I am having trouble figuring out the screen sharing for zoom when using google drive. I recently uploaded two files on to google drive. I uploaded an mp4 movie, and I uploaded a powerpoint (.pptx). When I tried to share the powerpoint from google drive, it would not share in full screen. Once it was full screen, it said that the video has paused but I could not unpause it. People were saying that all they can see is a blank black screen on their end that was not loading.  The same thing happened with the movie when I shared it from google drive and full screen, the screen paused and I could not unpause it.  Now, I could share these items not in full screen but it was so small and hard for people to see. So, I definitely want to be able to share things full screen without it pausing.

I am wondering how to remedy this issue. I did upload a keynote to google drive at one point. I had downloaded the file and was able to share the keynote full screen from the keynote app itself and it worked, but I had to download the file and could not do it from google drive itself. So my question is has anyone else had this problem when uploading files on to google drive and then trying to share the file in a zoom meeting? Do I have to use the original file? Google drive of course is more convenient because I could access it through any device so I was hoping that I would not have to download these items separately, but any feedback is helpful and most appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to read and respond!

This just started happening to me when I started working with a group that has their own zoom meetings room which is always on during business hours for co workers to use. The meeting room has its own URL and I use the desktop app.   It only happens in this meeting room.  I cannot join from my laptop and have to use an ipad.  I need to use the laptop for screen sharing etc.

I can still join any other zoom meeting hosted by someone else on my laptop.

I do not have Power Tools installed and I have read and applied every article I could find on this topic.  What else can I do?

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this. While screen sharing a website from my lenovo laptop, can participants see pictures that pop up suddenly after I plugged in my iphone (which started auto-synching)?

http://zoom.us/test doesn't help - unplug the internet while it's running
and it continues to display the camera, so it's not doing anything over
the internet at all, also it doesn't test the microphone.
When I did an actual Zoom session, video and audio broke up continually
then audio stopped altogether - it was a complete disaster.
The whole point of Zoom is that it's over the internet - a test that
doesn't go over the internet is not useful.
Signing into a view-only conference doesn't help much as it doesn't
detect problems with my camera, microphone, or uplink; also the available
bandwidth may be enough for one-way video but flake out for two-way.

Zoom should host an always-on dummy conference that just sends back what
it gets from your camera and microphone so you can verify everything is
working in both directions over the internet, as well as letting you
see how you look and sound to others. Where is that?
Is there any alternative website that does automatic two-way testing?

Zoom meetings

Hi,

I created a zoom meeting for several people to attend a meeting.  How can they accept without me getting a notification of their acceptance?  It is flooding my inbox.
