On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

I couldn't find this answer on the website, I hope someone here can help me.  

My employer is ending their contract with Zoom next month (July). This means I'm loosing my company zoom account. I plan to purchase my own pro account because it's made collaborating with colleagues so much easier! (even when we live in the same town). I have 2 reoccurring meetings that I host with several collaborators and I was wondering if there was any way I could keep them as they or if I'll have to create all new meetings and links and such with my *new* account. Has anyone done this?

Allowing someone else access to my account

I am providing the link in an email each week - I want them to be able to simply click the link to join the workshop and NOT have to be verified in any way. I suspect most of my registrants will be older and may not be super tech savvy - am wanting to make sure it is super easy for them. Suggestions? Thanks!

Noticed yesterday when trying to share PPT that screen that screen-share automatically paused and would not restart sharing. Could not share any specific open screen [window] in Mac device. Could only share whole desktop. 

Anyone else experiencing that problem, or know how to fix? 

Submitted tech support request for assistance, but not sure if that will be answered.

Still having that problem today.

I only have a basic licence as the Company I work for uses another video meeting platform, however I sometimes get invited to meetings from clients who use Zoom. I have a hearing impairment and find live captions a really useful feature on other platforms. It appears that this functionality isn't available to me unless I have a paid for plan - which if is the case doesn't appear very inclusive? Am I correct with my take of the support guidance?

Currently I am using zoom free version and when I want to change the waiting room setting on the setting page, I cannot find the Editing options :

So how can I change the waiting room setting ? Since I want yo change the authorized person  can bypass the waiting room, is there any method to do it? Thank you.

Resolved! oddly and frustratingly there 2 time zones in my zoom account

I have had this happen in two meetings in the last week and it gives me worry to think that people are receiving the wrong time for the meeting with 2 times zones at work in my zoom account.   

 

I set a meeting in eastern standard zone shows correctly in the meeting invitation, but in my zoom schedule it shows in the wrong time zone.  It is at the correct time in my outlook account. 

 

This literally happened at some point after I created this link - which I have sent out to people who will be participating in the event. 

 

Has anyone had this happen and if so, what was the fix?
