When I leave a meeting and close zoom, it stays running in the background and messes up audio for other apps. I have to force stop it from the app settings everyone a meeting finishes. This just started happening within the last month. Any help?

Hello, I'm experiencing a recurring issue with my Zoom display name. In my Zoom profile, my full name is correctly set to damien( ...Full first name and name). However, every time I join a meeting, my display name shows up as "damie". I’ve already tried the following: Verified that my Zoom profile (on the web) shows the correct full name. Checked the settings in the Zoom desktop app. Despite this, Zoom continues to display "damie" by default when I join new meetings. I'm using a free Zoom account, so I don't have access to direct support. Does anyone know how I can fix this so that my correct full name appears automatically in all meetings? Couldn't find where to submit a bug report, so I thought I'd start here if anybody has noticed the same, or wasn't sure how to solve it. For about a year, I've noticed the video lag hard occasionally in Zoom, and have discovered the cause. The video lags when I'm on the receiving end of a push notification, when macOS has Portrait or Studio Light (sorry, I can't remember which one of the 2, or if it's both) enabled in the green camera icon in the menu bar. This happens with both iSight camera, or a USB webcam. A colleague and mine tested, and sure enough, when either of us turn off Portrait or Studio Light, then sent the. other a Slack message, the problem went away.

Hi, I am trying to add someone as an alternative host for my meeting but I keep getting the error message 'Unable to assign (email address) as an alternative host because the user cannot be selected at this time' Why might this be and how can I resolve this? In case it makes a difference, the email I am trying to add is an external email address (not within my company) I have checked and the email address is correct and the email is connected to their Zoom account.

When using Zoom on my Mac Mini computer, I have a green 'video' icon on the menu bar which I find useful. But on my MacBook, that icon doesn't appear, instead I get a 'Zoom' text which has different functionality. See screenshots for the two menus. Both computers have the same 5.17.2 version of Zoom. Am I missing a setting, how can I get the green icon bon my MacBook. Thanks for any help.

After enabling live closed captions, I see option to view full transcript but there's no button to save the transcript on the iPad. What's up with that? 😡😠
