When I try to join a meeting on my MacBook Air, I'm taken to App Store instead of the meeting. Why is this and how do I stop it? I have uninstalled zoom.us then re-installed it. Rebooted etc. All the usual stuff. This doesn't happen on my Mac Desktop. What's going on?

Hello I want that the participants need to register for my meeting. But there is no option such as register! I am using the free version for a 40min meeting, as zoom also does not accept my credit card. Annoying!!
The info by Zoom says, activate the option to register.

I want to know if someone download my zoom recording on their desktop offline and now they are trying to play the video using VLC media player or any player. Hi, I recently had to attend a course via zoom. I was told to install the app. Which was Zoom basic. I was eventually locked out of the room due to only having audio and no video. Zoom basic says that I am only able to attend meetings which are 40 minutes long. Does anyone know whether I should have been advised to buy a 30 hour per meeting subscription on zoom? I.E Zoom Pro? Could that be why I was stopped from being present? I have lost a lot of money and am now expected to pay for the course again. It wasn't my internet connection and I bought a new laptop because it was an ongoing course. Any help, suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated please. Thanks so much

I recorded 4-5 recordings yesterday, all from the same meeting. Usually, when i end the meeting, the 'recording converting' box pops up and they all save to my local disk. (I have it set to save recordings locally.) Yesterday, the conversion process hung at 19%. I stopped the conversion process because the pop up box said I can go find them at meetings/recorded in my zoom app. But now I can't find any files relating to the recordings at all. Can someone help me pls? It was a very important meeting. (I'm using a macbook pro with Monterey, zoom Version: 5.12.9 (13190))

When I click 'launch meeting' nothing happens. I have to join every meeting from the browser.
Hello, E.g. an alternative host can start a meeting, whereas aa co-host cannot - per this article: "Co-hosts also cannot start a meeting. If a host needs someone else to be able to start the meeting, they can assign an alternative host." Is this possible to configure as a default for all meetings, e.g. in the org admin, or individual users' meeting settings?
Our org would like to be able to always have a "safety access" option in case a meeting's host is unavailable.
Is it possible to set up meetings to always have a specific alternative host? E.g. we have a service account with a Zoom seat in our org we'd like to use.
To be precise, I am not talking about a "co-host" role, but rather an "alternative" host
Currently, I am using a Make scenario (fka Integromat) to update the Zoom events as event registrations come in through Calendly bookings. This is gets the job done, but it wastes operations in Make on redundant updates (e.g. if twelve people sign up for an event, the Make scenario updates the same event twelve times).
Thank you!
