Host can't mute themselves when they screen share

We alternate hosts with our meetings. Some hosts cannot mute themselves when they screen share a video link with audio. When they mute then the entire video is muted. This issue seems to be happening with certain hosts because jt doesn't happen for me. Any suggestions?

I'm trying to automate Zoom launching process with python in Windows 11, and I noticed a popup that said update was required before joining a conference that I think looked like this: desktop-update-required-join

What is the window class name for this popup? I closed down the popup because the conference had already started before getting the name. Now I can't reproduce this popup. If any of you are familiar, I need the output of win32gui.GetClassName(win32gui.FindWindow(None, 'Update Required'))

 

EDIT:

On the second thought, I think I want to reproduce this situation. Can anyone tell me how to do so as of today?

How to disable voice guidance?

Good afternoon.

After the Zoom update  (June 24), there was a voice guidance for activites (entry of new participant, start th screen sharing, end of screen sharing, etc.), an analogue of Siris voice. How can I disable this option?

I use webhooks to track changes in user profile settings - ' The user's profile info has been updated'. All changes like (first_name, last_name, Display Name) track successfully. But when the user change HOST_KEY I don't receive any webhooks about this. 

How I can track HOST_KEY changes? Thanks!

How can I require and later capture contact information (name and email) of people who chose to watch a meeting recording?

I will share the recording link with someone who intends to share with a lot of people and I want to capture their info.

Annotation misalignment

Has anyone had issues with annotations/whiteboards being misaligned between participants? Someone can open up a whiteboard and start drawing but half of it will be offscreen for me but not for another participant. On the other hand if I start annotat... Show more

Has anyone had issues with annotations/whiteboards being misaligned between participants? Someone can open up a whiteboard and start drawing but half of it will be offscreen for me but not for another participant. On the other hand if I start annotating and then someone annotates on top it will appear fine for them but misaligned for everyone else. It's super strange - 

 

Some info

  • I'm on Linux Fedora 37, using GNOME on Wayland.
  • AMD GPU.
  • I'm using a 21:9 aspect ratio, I'm fairly certain the participants are using normal display aspect ratios.

I feel like it's a combination of those above issues.

Anybody else haveing to uninstall and reinstall Zoom and Zoom for outlook every few weeks?

When I try to move appoints in outlook normally it works great and then.. Error 300. Zoom support pages are Zero Help

My Zoom recordings were originally set up for cloud. Now, for some reason, when I'm done with a zoom I see a pop out window that says "converting recording" and the meeting is being hosted on my mac instead of the cloud. None of my settings have changed. I'm set up for cloud, but it's all local now. Any suggestions on how to reset the recording options?
