So sometimes we have people hosting a group meeting for 40 others, and the host needs to leave earlier.
It's been several times that the person has just finished the meeting for all by accident.

This is extremely annoying and I searched the settings but didn't find anything related.
Both buttons are red and have two clicks:  'Leave > Leave meeting' and 'Leave > End meeting for all'

Zoom needs to put one extra step before closing the meeting for all or automatically transfer the host to someone else.
- A prompt for confirmation 'Do you really want to end the meeting for everyone?'
- If there are co-hosts it could automatically transfer the host to one of them.

Broadband speed DROPS dramatically after every Zoom call

The speed of my broadband drops by a huge amount after I finish a Zoom call. From 40 meg down to as low as 0.2 meg download. Closing Zoom doesn't make any difference. The only way of getting the speed back up is to restart the laptop which is obvious... Show more

The speed of my broadband drops by a huge amount after I finish a Zoom call. From 40 meg down to as low as 0.2 meg download. Closing Zoom doesn't make any difference. The only way of getting the speed back up is to restart the laptop which is obviously a massive pain. (Or it does come back after 10 mins or so if left). Initially I thought the problem was with elsewhere and have had the router replaced, had an engineer out etc and can confirm everything works and I have a fast connection. I can see there has been discussion about this issue in the past but couldn't see a satisfactory solution. Any advice appreciated! Thank you.

I use zoom api i want that when host set waiting room is false then participants can enter in meeting without waiting and if host set waiting room bit true then participants will be in waiting room and host will admit the users.
The problem is when host set waiting room false but in always keep in waiting room.The expected behaviour should be that when waiting room false then participants will be join meeting without waiting.
How to resolve this issue.

Friends in China can no longer connect to my links

On Friday, March 31, my friends in China were able to meet me on zoom using my Personal Meeting Room link (free edition), like we always use. Beginning Saturday, April 1, they were no longer able to use this link. I already checked that I didn't have China blocked, or any other country. I then also tried changing my settings to specify that China be allowed. My friends tried joining from the app and the browser. No luck either way. I also tried searching in the news for any updates but haven't seen anything to say that there has been a change in foreign policies. In fact, the sole article that I found specifically said that citizens in China would still be allowed to join American meeting links, they just can't purchase Zoom software directly. Has anyone had any success? My friends do not have the option of a VPN at this time.

Hi,
We are using Zoom Meeting for one of our trainings. We require that participants turn on their webcam during the training. However, some participants turn off the webcam in the middle of the training. In that case, the host notes the time when the participant's webcam is off. This process is burdensome for the host.

1. Is it possible to force participants to turn their webcams on?

2. Is there a way to know when a participant's webcam is on (meeting log?) ?

Unable to add Co-Host or Alternate Host to meeting

I followed the this article from Zoom about Enabling and adding a co-host , however I was not able to fix the problem for one of our users. 

 

I checked the settings under Account, Group, and User -- but they all had the option enabled. 

 

When the user goes to edit the meeting and add the co-host, it gives them the option but it's greyed out. The support article states that if the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level and to contact the zoom administrator but at this point i'm back to square one. What else could be blocking the setting? We checked on a different computer and it does the same thing, also if we do it from the web. 

 

Any help is appreciated!
