Hi there, My wife is always receiving this email message in her email account from my Zoom account via Fathom where I am never invited to any of her Zoom meetings: "(My name) is using Fathom to record Google Meet meetings and streamline the note-taking. Is it okay if (my name) records your meeting tomorrow?" How can I stop Fathom from sending these message my wife email address?

I have been testing out advanced features in our enterprise Zoom account to help streamline our work related to typing up and managing meeting notes. When the features work--they are great. But when they don't work for no understandable reason, it is a major disappointment requiring back up approaches (which minimizes the impact of using the features if they are intermittent in functionality). The specifics: 1. Meeting transcripts. These are great when you remember to (a) turn it on at the beginning of a meeting, and (b) save the transcript immediately before exiting the meeting. I find it odd that Zoom can automatically start recordings and save recordings for you, but not automatically start or save transcripts. Why? I don't need to record with everyone on video and talking, etc. The transcription is much more helpful in capturing notes from a meeting, and when it works, it really reduces the time it takes us to distribute meeting notes. I can't tell you how many times I have accidentally closed the meeting before saving the transcript, so now I have multiple staff members saving it so we don't accidentally lose it. Zoom could address this and make it less stressful! 2. Meeting summaries (using AI Companion). Because of the challenges experienced with #1 above and losing meeting notes because we forgot to manually save them, I testing out using the meeting summary feature. I have it set to automatically create meeting summaries for every meeting that I host and to automatically send me the summary via email. Again, when it works, it is fantastic. But I had an important meeting yesterday that I was looking forward to reviewing the summary, and it never arrived. It is as if the meeting didn't happen. Earlier in the day I had another meeting and promptly received the summary in email. So what gives? This has occurred now several times. I have not changed my settings. I am the host and/or meeting organizer for all of these I want a summary on, and it seems to not be totally reliable. 3. I used the new Zoom docs feature to edit a meeting summary. AI doesn't get everything right and it is great that you can edit the notes. But I cannot resend the revised document and meeting summary to my email. It's nuts that the only way you can access or see them is through the Zoom application itself. I also want to print or save them as a PDF, or even export them to Word, but none of those options exist either. I did manage to cut and paste a meeting summary into a Word document, had to reformat it, but at least I was able to store it offline and share it easily with others--particularly those outside of my organization who I don't want to be accessing these summaries in my Zoom account. Thank you for creating interesting new features, but when they are really "beta" it would be good to let users know not to rely on them as it's all a bit hit or miss at the moment.

I used to love the meeting summaries. As a paid member, I introduced multiple companies to and suggested zoom as our video conferencing app, almost entirely for the AI's video recordings and meeting summaries. What I loved about the summaries: 1. Easy to read and understand 2. Easy to edit (by browser) and share (by email) Now they seem: 1. Incredibly difficult to edit (by browser) or share 2. Difficult to understand I'm a tech savvy guy. Anyone on this forum is. But what I liked about the old version was that it was easy for our non-tech savvy coworkers and clients to understand as well. Now the editor has tons of links and icons, and the share button only sends viewers to a link so they can log in to zoom docs. Once a client or coworker sees that they need to login, they balk and ask me to send them a .doc or pdf or email. And then, good luck trying to figure out how to export the summary from zoom docs. I get it. The "ensh*ttifcation" of all digital software that Corey Doctorow of the EFF talks about has finally come to zoom. The constant need to add features that lock in users or create new signups, or at least let the various login platforms track us and serve more ads and create profiles on us has cause a great platform to degenerate. Sigh... I need only TWO things: 1. Easy to view and share meeting recordings 2. Easy to edit, new, and share meeting summaries. THAT'S IT. Without it - I have to find a new platform, and tell others to as well. I am and was a super spreader, Zoom Evangelist. Please don't make me have to apologize, uninstall, and turn all the people I referred to zoom away? I know there's must still be good people at Zoom who put their users first. You couldn't have gotten this far without them. Listen to them. Please.

I had a meeting scheduled by the other person. They agreed for me to take notes, I pushed the AI button which they approved however I did not record the meeting. Were no notes recorded because I did not record the meeting? If it was recorded, I can't seem to access the notes. Thank you

If I enable Meeting Summary with AI Companion, how can I also enable Smart Recording with AI Companion at the same time? I love the meeting summaries, but I also want to access the full transcript (With the Smart Recording features) but I can't find a way to do that, I can only pick one or the other. Any ideas?

Hi, I've both Admin and Owner access to my agency's zoom company portal. We have Zoom One Business licenses, which should meet the prerequisite to use the feature. I'm trying to enable Zoom AI Companion so we can try out Meeting Summary, but I do not see the option in Account Setting. I would greatly appreciate it if someone can assist me in this. Thanks.
