Hi there Zoom Community,

 

I'm wondering if anyone has had any experience or luck with using features such as Meeting Summary or Smart Recordings with Zoom Webinars? I am frequently setting up and leading multiple webinars each month for my company, but I don't seem to be having any luck with accessing / implementing some of the AI Companion features inside Zoom webinars (thinking Smart Chapters, Meeting Summary, Meeting Coach, Whiteboard Content Generation, etc.)

 

Any and all insight and assistance would be appreciated!

I’m Roy, and I manage the Authorized Partnerships Program at monday.com.

 

Each week, we hold a kick-off Zoom call with 30-40 new partners. During these calls, we usually receive numerous questions, some asked verbally and others via chat.

 

I have a document that contains all the relevant data, Q&A, and content needed to address these questions. I’m looking for a way to automate responses during the call, either by leveraging Zoom’s features or through an integration, to provide instant answers without disrupting the flow of the meeting.

 

Has anyone implemented a similar solution or have any recommendations on how to set this up effectively?

Otter AI question

I'm trying to help a user that has turned off otter AI in both zoom.us and otter.ai and she's still connected to it and it's still sending emails out.  Does anybody know of a setting I'm missing?

Hello,

 

Can I give AI Companion instructions on how it should give me a summary (what important, relevant information is in which structure it should summarize, for example)?

 

And can I get more information from the transcript afterwards, when a meeting has already ended?

 

Or receive a written, complete transcript afterwards?

Can I also activate the chat with AI companion so that it is only visible to me as the host and not to everyone?

Automatically starting Meeting Summary and AI Companion Not Working - Google Calendar

We use "Zoom for Google Workspace" add-on with Google Calendar. Even though the options "Automatically start Meeting Summary for all meetings I host" and "Turn on AI Companion automatically when meetings start" are enabled under profile settings, tho... Show more

We use "Zoom for Google Workspace" add-on with Google Calendar. Even though the options "Automatically start Meeting Summary for all meetings I host" and "Turn on AI Companion automatically when meetings start" are enabled under profile settings, those features do not turn automatically under certain circumstances.

 

From my experience:

  • For meetings created directly in Google Calendar, clicking on Add video conference and selecting Zoom Meeting but not open the options in Zoom for Google Workspace add-on, this does not enable the AI features automatically for the meeting, even though they are configured within the Zoom profile to do so.
  • When creating a meeting directly in Google Calendar and clicking the Zoom for Google Workspace add-on, this brings up the options to start the features automatically, but they are not enabled by default.
  • Scheduling a meeting using the Zoom Workplace client does have the AI features enabled automatically, consistent to the profile settings.
  • Installing the Zoom Chrome Extension and selecting the option Schedule a Meeting from the extension menu does enable the AI options automatically.

Why are the AI features not enabled by default in the first two scenarios?

Who is the AI Meeting Summary emailed to (which account does it belong), the original host, the new host, both or split between the two hosts for their portions of the meeting? Thank you
