I need to record a timed Zoom session in order to secure a virtual teaching position. One of the requirements of the session is to use the annotate function. I cannot figure out how to turn that on. I have read the directions on the Zoon sight as well as some Googled instructions. They were the same and they don't work-- they are wrong. For starters after logging in, the directions are to go to Account Management and then Account Settings but Account Settings isn't under Management. If I play around with it, I can find "Settings" without "management", but then it's impossible to find the 3rd direction which is to Click the Meeting Tab. These directions just don't go anywhere. Help!

Can a school make zoom where the teachers doesnt have contact with the students?

We are a school and i want to develop some system where the teachers and students receive the link i created to enter a zoom room so they cant have contact outside zoom (right now the teacher must send the link directly to the student).Is there any w... Show more

I've had a number of reports of network issues lately, all on our campus system.  We've determined that Wi-Fi6 capable devices have significant driver issues that cause inconsistent network connectivity and a poor Zoom experience.  Has anyone had the same experience?  Any thoughts on a solution?

I teach a remote class from home to incarcerated people in a classroom.   They have a mic in front of the class. but I have a hard time hearing the ones in the back.  

On two different occasions, the sound has gotten dramatically better after about 45 minutes - and I can hear fine.  Is this magic?  (no one has done anything to the sound.)  Can someone shed light?

Basic Plan Time Limit

As an educator, we use Zoom for our virtual classes with the Basic Plan. We've heard rumors that the Basic Plan will not longer be supporting unlimited time in 2022. Can you please confirm or deny this rumor? I'm hoping it is denied.

We've been recording our classes held over zoom, but since there is about fifteen minutes of filler time before each class begins, I've been editing them down on Vimeo. However, some of our students are hard of hearing, so I've been trying to add captions. The issue is when I use a Zoom caption file with an edited down video on Vimeo, the captions won't sync, rendering them pretty much useless. If anyone has any suggestions on how to get captions to sync on an easy-to-use platform, I would greatly appreciate it!
