Starting February 1, 2025, Zoom Phone customers must add their phone numbers to an approved 10DLC campaign in order to keep using SMS/MMS capabilities on their numbers.
I just bought the basic phone plan for my small 1 person business. The purpose is to have a virtual phone # for the business that I can use on my personal cell phone to avoid mixing business/personal. For some reason the setup gave me an Extension - not needed, this prevents clients from calling me (it's stupid to require random callers to need to know the Ext #. It should just be a straight pass through call). Using the Zoom Workplace app on my android phone - try to make a call and I get this error message "Sorry, the requested service is not available in your calling plan". What the hell? I literally only bought this "Phone Service Plan" plan because it said it could be used as a virtual phone for my business. This should not be this difficult to setup and use. 2nd problem - using the Zoom Workplace app, I cannot figure out how to setup/record the Voicemail. this should not be rocket science. If this is an exclusive option for the Desktop application it's dumb because not everyone has a headset to record voice. It needs to be an option to use/setup WITHIN THE APP. what am I missing???

Zoom Phone users making outgoing calls will not hear a ringing tone or a dial tone. The caller does not think that the call is connecting although it is and is hanging up on prematurely, causing a lot of problems for our clients. This is happening on iPhone app, desktop softphone, using a headset, and without a headset. It's not everyone, with every call. This appears to be intermittent.

Hello, I saw that Zoom changed its name from "Zoom Video Communications, Inc." to "Zoom Communications, Inc." around November ( https://www.zoom.com/en/blog/introducing-zoom-communications-inc/ ). On Windows, when downloading the Zoom installer (as well as checking the files from an already installed/updated Zoom workspace program), the digital signature currently says "Zoom Video Communications, Inc.", even when downloading the latest "ZoomInstallerFull.exe" (64-bit) from the Zoom download center. Will that remain the name on the signature, or will it change to "Zoom Communications, Inc."? This can have an impact on things that check the signature, such as Windows Applocker/WDAC policies.

I am new to hosting Zoom Webinars. Although I host many Zoom meetings and rely on AI Summary to capture the content and create a summary, after hosting my first Zoom webinar, I was surprised to not see the same report. I do find the transcript within the video recording page, however do not see a way to export it. Is there a setting or permission in order get the AI Summary after a webinar, as after a meeting, or, must I copy and paste the transcript within the video recording page to a document? Any easier, more efficient ways to get that AI Summary?

I go to Add Phone Number, select a label and a region, and I type the number,
and get the verification code.
But when I type the exact code, it doesn't work, and I try again, and then it says
I sent too many code to this number.
Tried again 2 times and still the same problem.

One of my users is the host of a zoom meeting today at 1 PM. Unfortunately, he's sick. We have a second user lined up to be the meeting host but the first user never designated anyone to have scheduling privileges or made anyone a co-host or alternate host. When I go into the admin panel for our account I appear to be able to designate other people to have scheduling privileges for me, but no ability to set this on any other user. I can't see anyone else's scheduled meetings, either. How do I go about adding a co-host, or changing the host, as the account owner without making someone who's out on a sick day log back on to change his own settings?

A spammy online marketer keeps sending me Zoom email invites, and it's clogging up my inbox. I never subscribed to their thing and there isn't a way to unsubscribe/remove from list through the zoom invites that I can find. I don't want to block the emails because it will block all Zoom meeting invites and I do need access for work purposes. Nor do I want to just create a new folder because real meetings will get lost in the spammy jungle. Does zoom have no way to ask to be removed from someone's meetings?

I am trying to update to the latest version of Zoom from my old iPad. After signing in it says I need the update to be 5.12.2 or higher. When I click update it asks me to download the last compatible version as the latest version is not compatible with this device. I click Download and get the same message again, and so it repeats. My iPad is 10.3.3 (14G60)

When I create an invite for my coworkers to have a meeting in our conference room with internal and external employees, the meeting appears on our tablet in the conference room so I just need to hit "join" which has usually just started the meeting on the screen in the conference room but is now giving a message that it is "waiting for the host to join" and will not start the meeting until someone externally logs into the meeting but the original invite was created from the conference room calendar itself so should be the host already. Any ideas what is causing this?
