Zoom name change - any impact on digital signed program files?

Hello,

I saw that Zoom changed its name from "Zoom Video Communications, Inc." to "Zoom Communications, Inc." around November ( https://www.zoom.com/en/blog/introducing-zoom-communications-inc/ ).

On Windows, when downloading the Zoom installer (as well as checking the files from an already installed/updated Zoom workspace program), the digital signature currently says "Zoom Video Communications, Inc.", even when downloading the latest "ZoomInstallerFull.exe" (64-bit) from the Zoom download center. Will that remain the name on the signature, or will it change to "Zoom Communications, Inc."? This can have an impact on things that check the signature, such as Windows Applocker/WDAC policies.

I noticed in the release notes for 6.5 (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061222) , it states:

"Zoom has officially changed its legal name from Zoom Video Communications, Inc. to Zoom Communications, Inc. , effective November 25, 2024. This change will also be reflected in the Zoom Workplace certificates. This update affects signature verification during automatic upgrades across desktop, mobile, and web applications. For Android devices running versions below Android 9, users need to uninstall and reinstall the app. The certificate update ensures compliance with Zoom's new legal entity name while maintaining security standards across all platforms. "

However, when I download the Windows Zoom installer (6.5.1) from either the auto-update (within the Zoom Workplace program by checking for updates) or https://zoom.us/download (64-bit), it still says "Zoom Video Communications" in the digital signature.

Is there a scheduled date/version that this is going to take place?
