Is anyone else having constant trouble with the app badge icons in the Zoom app for iOS? Previously I was having weird issues where me sending another user a chat via my computer would generate a badge icon on my zoom app on my phone. That is still happening but now I have the added annoying problem of the badge icons not clearing. I have a badge of 1 even if I have read all my chats. I can make it go away by marking a message as unread and then reading it but as soon as I get another message, the badge is back and doesn’t go away. Anyone else having this issue? I think it started around the time I upgraded to iOS 18.
Speaking of iOS 18, why in the world hasn’t Zoom updated their app icon to support dark mode like every other app maker has? Really makes it seem like the devs don’t know what they are doing.

A couple weeks ago, I bought a new HP touchscreen computer. I downloaded the Zoom application as normal, but my camera is not working. The only camera I have is the computer's default camera. I know there is nothing wrong with the camera itself because Google Meets works just fine. This is a problem because I'm required to have my camera on for work. What is the problem?

I have a DragonTouch K10 tablet (Android 8.1.0). Internal, Bluetooth and wired headset audio are all fine with other apps, e.g. AudioLab, where I experience no problem at all with any of the microphones. (AudioLab did need me to opt explicitly to use the Bluetooth microphone the first time.) But I simply cannot get the Android Zoom app (currently version 6.3.11 (28195)) to pick up audio from any microphone at all, internal, wired, or Bluetooth. Zoom thinks I have a microphone, the microphone permissions setting is in place, but no sound is picked up. Meanwhile the speaker is 100% fine in all cases. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on the tablet from the Google Play Store, and most recently tried the app download on the Zoom website, all with no joy. This site indicates that Zoom fully supports Android 8.1.0. I have tried the Zoom test (zoom.us/test) which just tells me I have a microphone and then exits (not helpful). I have run out of things to try, any ideas gratefully received.

One of the departments that I support is moving off of the zoom phone system to the one that I administer for our company. Is there a way for me to forward the 4 the auto receptionist to an external DID? I need to do this prior to porting the number out so they have no interruption. Thank you.

Hello, I have an issue that is due to my own mistake and not double checking which account I was signed into but I am hoping there is a way to fix this issue if it happens again in the future... I am the Executive Assistant at the company I work for and my Zoom account was added as a licensed user on my Boss's Zoom account. So for each scheduled meeting I am marked as an Alternative Host which works great when I select the link while signed into my own login. However, sometimes I have to sign into my boss's account for certain tasks; if I don't sign out and log back into my account before starting a meeting it will automatically sign me into his account and I have to run it has him which then makes him unable to join the meeting. How do I "end the meeting" and/or "sign into my own account" without making the link an issue for others to join afterwards, as this was the issue I ran into twice now? (I ended the meeting and logged out of his account, then signed into my account, and then selected the link again and had issues where no one else could sign in with that link besides myself, so we had to use a whole different account and link to have the event.) Please help! I tried to look this issue up already here but did not find the answers that I needed.

Hi, I've seen a few similar posts, and have patiently waited for months to have a working solution on Wayland for screensharing, but so far it remains as broken as it was a year ago, so starting a new post to share all the relevant information. My only workaround until now was to rely on Zoom v6.0.2.4680 and downgrade Pipewire to v1.0.7, but it sadly stopped working (zoom would not even log any error message to stdout, so I'm not sure what's going on). The only option is to now embrace the newer versions, so I'm currently on v6.3.10.7150, which allows me to join calls but I can't share my screen at all. I've tried the suggested "Settings->Share screen->Advanced->Screen capture mode on Wayland set to Pipewire Mode" without success. Whether I set it to Auto, Original or Pipewire Mode, I get the same error pop-up saying the following: - Install latest 'xdg-desktop-portal' and 'xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland' - Switch to X11 display server To support screen share" The xdg-desktop-portals are already installed on their latest versions on my system, and the suggestion to switch to X11 is completely unacceptable. Would anyone be able to look into this? As a team lead, I need to share my screen on a daily basis at work and now that the workaround no longer works, I'm completely blocked by this issue. Note: I would happily upload a screenshot, but I wasn't allowed to do so.

We recently changed computers but the audio in Zoom is heard very low, we have already raised the volume of the bar in the Zoom settings but it is still heard very low, in other applications such as Teams we have no problems.
Hi all - I'm using Zoom on a Neat Bar system (neat bar + TVs), and with a recent software update, the camera is automatically enabling camera tracking. This is causing issues with the video as it does not frame the room correctly. How can I disable this camera tracking permanently? I'd like it to start with a set framing of the room each time. Thanks!

I need more cloud storage than the 5gb I have - if I cancel my current subscription and upgrade to one that offers more cloud storage, will I lose the current recordings I have on my account? I really appreciate any advice. It seems so challenging to contact Support.
