My video screen is black on my laptop's ZOOM app, showing only my name at the bottom left hand corner.  When using my latop as a telephone at my former work location, the ZOOM app was originally set-up for phone conversation only, via a static phone number, without video capability.  I think or I hope there's a 'preference default setting' in the ZOOM app that needs to be changed in order to switch-on (or, engage) my laptop's video cam ....  Can anyone help me with this in order to engage my cam?

Missing Cloud Recording

I am a paid "Pro" subscriber. I recorded a client call to the cloud. I got a message that it was up and ready and I go to the recordings page and not only is that particular recording not there, THE ENTIRE PAGE IS BLANK. What's up with that, Zoom? I'... Show more

I am a paid "Pro" subscriber. I recorded a client call to the cloud. I got a message that it was up and ready and I go to the recordings page and not only is that particular recording not there, THE ENTIRE PAGE IS BLANK.

 

What's up with that, Zoom?

 

I've tried refreshing the page, clearing the cache and refreshing the page. And something very weird happens when I do that - The recordings list flash for about a nanosecond and then disappears.

 

Can you take a look?

My HD is activated. I tried removing my virtual background. Nothing changes.

Hi.

Unfortunately, I have no way to respond directly to chat messages in a meeting (for example, with emojis) or even respond with direct replies. When I move my mouse pointer over the message three dots appear where I have the choice between quote and copy. I am using a Mac. The help I have found online does nothing for me. Do I have to or can I change anything in any chat settings that I haven't found yet? So that I also have a small speech bubble and a small smiley when I go with the mouse pointer on the message.

Unable to upgrade to 5.10.03 or higher

I am a subscriber to Zoom, but unable to use for my last two meetings, would not allow me to have audio, had to use a browser.  When I go to zoom, I only get the message "You need to upgrade to 5.10.3 or higher.  Contact your IT department. I do not have an IT department and when I try to upgrade, I cannot because I do not have access to my profile in order to upgrade.  I never get messages from zoom to make me aware of any new upgrades.

When I tried to uninstall Zoom and install, I cannot do that either as I get a message telling me that "You cannot uninstall because you are on a network source that is unavailable."  I have no idea what that means. I need help solving the problem.  I tried the Zoom Chat room but it did not work.  Did not even come close to understanding my problem.

 

Can someone out there help?

Client screen being effected

I seem to notice that every client of mine (who are mostly children as I am a teacher) is having the same issue. Their screens glitch and the video gets disrupted while in session. I am worried that there is a bug in zoom that is effecting the screen... Show more
