Zoom crashes when I place a .pdf file in the chat screen.

I teach a course at Stony Brook University via Zoom. I am using Linux Mint 64-bit versions for both the OS and Zoom app. I used to be able to place .pdf files in the chat window for my students to download with no problems for the last two years. However, in the last two weeks, whenever I do that, Zoom immediately crashes.  Your automatic helper keeps referring to share screen crashes, but I don't have a problem with screen sharing. Also, I am definitely not using the 32-bit version.  I'm beginning to suspect it could be the Linux kernel. I must be able to place .pdf files in the chat window, as I used to be able to in order to teach my course.  I need immediate advice or help. I've sent crash reports as requested after the crashes.

GIFs

Are the use of GIFs available in our Zoom chats?   If not, will they be made available or are they a part of an upgrade?  My job uses MS Teams and GIFs have proven to be a useful addition to the chat.

Resolved! I would like to begin a Team Chat for a meeting I didn't host. How do I do this?

I am not familiar with Team Chat, but I would like to use it for a meeting that I didn't host. The host has given me permission to start a chat with the other members. The meeting ended a few days ago. Questions:

  1. Am I able to start a Team Chat session if I was not the host of the meeting? I have the meeting ID and password.
  2. Will Team Chat still be available even though the meeting has ended and all participants have logged off?
  3. How will participants know that a chat has begun since they have logged out of the meeting? Will they receive some kind of alert?

I am a counselor that sees her clients online. I schedule them for so may sessions in a row. But after the holidays and for make-ups I would like to use the same zoom link. Is it possible to copy and paste the old zoom link to be used in new meetings... Show more

I am a counselor that sees her clients online. I schedule them for so may sessions in a row. But after the holidays and for make-ups I would like to use the same zoom link. Is it possible to copy and paste the old zoom link to be used in new meetings I set up. I do not want to have the teachers have to copy and past a different link into the students schedule. I hope this makes sense.

現在、当アプリにて特定のユーザーからの連絡先リクエストが承認できない事象が発生しており、ご相談させていただきます。
詳細としては、受信した連絡先リクエストのうち、特定の1名の方からのリクエストについて、「承認」ボタンをタップしても反応がなく、承認できない状態です。他のユーザー様からのリクエストは問題なく承認できております。
この特定のユーザー様については、過去に一度ブロックしておりましたが、現在はアプリ内の設定よりブロックを解除済みです。しかし、ブロック解除後も状況は改善されず、リクエストの承認ができない状態が続いております。
これまでに、以下の対応を試みましたが、改善が見られませんでした。
  • アプリの再起動
  • スマートフォンの再起動
  • 通信環境の確認
  • アプリのキャッシュクリア
  • 連絡先リクエストの詳細画面からの承認操作
お手数をおかけいたしますが、本件についてご確認いただき、解決策をご教示いただけますようお願い申し上げます。

500 Internal Server Error

The zoom integration on Canvas has encountered the problem start from 11 December. When we access zoom from canvas integration, the error "500 Internal Server Error" occur. Any suggestion to solve the problem?

Is there a way where we can trigger a predefined template when we start a conversation with any person or team. When a Support team member pings a person, it should throw a template " I am XXXX from XXXX team " and that XXXX team is critical need to be highlighted as "Critical Response team" .Is this possible?
