I have looked if there is an easy way to identify Team Chats where a file was shared.  Even better to identify files share with an external Team Chat member.

I have a question, do I have the right to buy Zoom Workplace Pro license and additionally the Large Conference Plan for1000 Participants ? Am I eligible?

Just I live in Ukraine...., and for me now it's very big money and I don't want to lose it :(.
That's why I'm asking this question. And I really need to do a conference for about 1000 people, tomorrow((((

External Contact Requests Not Sent

For some reason, contact requests are not making it out to anyone.  Status says "Pending" and in chat it lists them all as "You Sent A Contact Request"   No one is receiving them in their email.

 

I am logged in with Pro account.  Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Hi! 

 

I am exploring ways to enhance mass emergency notifications. In addition to using other methods, such as mass text or phone call, the case study here would be to enhance the current capabilities and hit employees via Zoom (chat or call) during really big and bad things, like an active shooter scenario or significant internal application or infrastructure outage. Perhaps a way to post a banner to active meetings? This could even be for non-emergency messages, like HR to post messages "hey, reminder to sign up for benefits"

 

Is anyone familiar with a way to send a message to all within the organization, or post a zoom banner/ alert for others to see?

Mobile App notifications not appearing

I have the zoom app running on my samsung s22 plus, android version 14. All of a sudden, with some update perhaps, I am no longer seeing messages on team chat or some calls unless I open the app, then I see i've got unread messages and/or missed call... Show more

I have the zoom app running on my samsung s22 plus, android version 14.  All of a sudden, with some update perhaps, I am no longer seeing messages on team chat or some calls unless I open the app, then I see i've got unread messages and/or missed calls.  This is particularly true when the app hasn't received messages throughout the evening.  After opening the app, i'll get message notifications ,etc. but it seems to time out after a period.  Suggestions?

Removing a user from group chat

Recently one of our employees left and their account was removed from Zoom. They no longer appear under User Management. However, they still appeared in Channels and Group Chats. I was able to remove them from the Channels through the Team Chat Management -> Channels by adding myself as a channel admin. However, I do not see a similar mechanism for Group Chats.

 

I am a full admin on out Zoom account.

 

Does anyone have any ideas on both why the user was not removed from all of the channels and group chats, and how to remove the user from group chats that they are members of?

I have been using my MacBook when I have been working remotely, but I just transitioned to my Chromebook last week. 

I was able to use the zoom Chromebook app with no issues last week.

But when I logged into zoom this week, I am having issues viewing messages from

group chats and messages I would send in group chats would fail.

Previous messages sent on zoom in group chats would say"To view this message, please use your ACE-enabled client"

 

 

However, I am able to send and receive messages from individuals.

 

Any help would be great. My work IT wasn’t so much help.

Hi everyone

 

I am a teacher and I do a lot of online classes. I find it useful to send my students a copy of the Zoom chat at the end of each class by email. The chats are automatically saved into a folder in Windows 11 when I finish each session, as a .txt file.

 

Here's the thing: When I am using the chat in the session, I can edit the text to include (for example) bold text, italics, and crossings out. But when the text file is saved, all those rich text aspects disappear. This is frustrating.

 

Does anyone know how to make Zoom save the chat files in (for example) .docx format instead of .txt so that the rich text is preserved?

Team Chat changed

Looking to see if there is anyway to revert the latest version of zoom to use the same messaging process as previous. Specifically, if there was a group chat going on in Team Chat and you wanted to add a comment , you hover over the ballon and type a... Show more

Looking to see if there is anyway to revert the latest version of zoom to use the same messaging process as previous.

 

Specifically, if there was a group chat going on in Team Chat and you wanted to add a comment , you hover over the ballon and type a reply.  It then placed your new message right under the original message so you could see the continuity.

 

Now adding this message places it at the bottom of the chat thread and you lose the reference.  I am either missing something or this was a bad change decision.   thank you

Chat sound notification

I have my chat sound notification box enabled but still do not hear any sounds when someone chats in zoom.  Here is a screenshot of my settings.  All other chimes and notifications are working - like when someone enters or leaves a meeting.
