Hi All,

Has anyone else run into the issue of the chat feature being unavailable to attendees during a Zoom webinar? We typically start the practice session and select the "chat" view, but this time that wasn't done in advance of starting the webinar, but I feel like that wouldn't/shouldn't affect anything. All of our settings are the same as previous webinars, so I'm unsure what happened. Attendees were able to "raise their hands" and we could unmute them, but they could not chat. Is this a glitch that Zoom had, or has anyone else nixed selecting chat in the practice session/had this as a result? Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey Zoom community, I used to be able to keep the chat window open in the background work and when someone would message it would ding, and give me a push notification. As of the last update zoom chat no longer notifies me when I get a message unless I have the application minimized.

I have tried to uninstall, redownload and reinstall, I have tried zoom support (He just ended the chat with me because he couldn't figure it out). I'm missing a lot of messages because there is no sound. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any solutions?

I have a basic plan and I was trying to record a meeting but I couldn’t. I read about local and cloud recordings and I don’t really understand the difference.

I just want to record meetings that I have and i don’t even have the recording option in my meetings.  

I thought about upgrading to a pro account since it mentions recording in its features but it has only 1GB of cloud recording. I can save the recordings on my device if it’s possible but i need much more than 1GB is that possible with the pro plan? 

Hi Guys, My daughter is getting married next week and I want to host the ceremony via ZOOM. I'm comfortable with that part of the process, but does anyone know how I can just stream the ceremony and not have the participants windows show up on the screen, just the wedding from our end?

Has anyone had a problem where search results in Zoom Chat (outside meetings) don't display complete results?  A colleague and I recently did a little test where we searched for a person's name who we knew had been discussed over the last few days.  My most recent result was accurate but hers was not - a number of days ago was her first result whereas mine was yesterday.  Why does this happen?  Makes it difficult to any confidence in the search results!
